So we’re getting Vanilla Ice too?!?!??? Maybe he can promote the new Rita’sMy understanding is that BGW's summer event should somewhat mirror that of BGT's so look at those plans for hints as to what we will see.

I think this topic brings up what could serve as an interesting thread and discussion. Mods/Zach - is there a thread to discuss and document the "thematic and experiential decline" in the park that Mushroom references here? If so, could you move this post there and if not, could we open a thread to discuss this in more detail? I realize the community in this forum generally mentions and discusses this as offhanded snips in many threads, but a full thread for detailed discussion could be fun (See: depressing, saddening, nostalgic). I worked at the park for almost ten years in various lower level and mid level management roles from right before the SeaWorld takeover (2008/2009) which some mark as the beginning of the said decline, so it could be a good conversation starter.Your point is well taken, but my counter is that a theme park like BGW isn’t just something to “do,” it is something to experience. I don’t think you need a special event to make BGW an experience; it inherently is one.
An amusement park — where you walk around to ride roller coasters and eat funnel cake — is something you “do.” But a theme park with such an immersive environment as BGW makes it something to experience. The experience is in the feeling of being in old-world Europe, and (especially before BGW’s thematic and experiential decline) in experiencing the sights, sounds, smells, and food of those European cultures.

WAG is collaborating with Busch Gardens in their Summer of Wonder focus on art!!! WAG will be at the prost Pavilion for a chance to participate in the community mural or children's projects or watch plein air artists as they paint at different sites around the park! Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, June 15- August 11.SameI like the idea of using the Prost Patio as a little place to showcase art and artists.
Right. Like we are more shocked that WAG posted about it on Facebook before BGW.Super neat collab. Feels a little Epcot Festival of the Arts for sure—and I have absolutely zero complaints about that. Odd that BGW hasn't announced this yet though. Event is right around the corner...
