RE: BGW's Facebook Page

How do you move probably 20K people from one spot to clear the area? It is a rather challenging task when they all act like idiots and think of themselves and no one else. Also, they did open up the back service road by Apollo, they were announcing you can reneter the park to the left; in front of Sesame or go to the right; behind Sesame to exit.

they've been doing that forever. You can just wait on the bridge until they open the gates or go around. It is annoying though, especially when all you want is a pretzel dog!

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

Which is why you take the long way to get to Verbolten/pretzels through Rhinefeld or Loch Ness bridge. Unless you're waiting by the Festhaus or chilling on the bridge, there's no way you'll be able to walk against the flow of those 20,000 people without getting jostled around.

Complaining about crowds on July 4th? What are they gonna complain about next? The pretzels in the pretzel shop being too tasty? DarKastle being too 3D? Verbolten having a long line on a holiday weekend?

I just do not understand why it has been weeks since the park has posted a response to anyone. It is as if they are depending on "volunteers" (regular fans of the park) to answer questions for them.

Not only that, but where are the official Loch Ness Monster 35th anniversary photos??? It makes me very sad that after such a fun day, with a official park photographer documenting the event, that not "ONE" photo has been posted yet. :(

We come to Hallowscream EVERY year. Not this one. Your beer comercials have taken to re-writing the constitution to suit the liberal agenda.

As bad as I want to be quick and laugh at this person we have to realize that the normal person doesnt follow/care about the whole saga that was the Busch sale. The park is still named Busch after all....

I don't know if it really matters to you guys since most of you are only on Facebook, but they did post 2 pictures on Instagram, one of the train going down the drop, and one of the train coming out of the loop. I noticed you guys were mostly in the front of the train.

^^ Not meaning to sound rude, but only 2 pictures out of a professional photographer? It just sounds weird to me.
Well Instagram is a very basic social network. Well to put it simply Instagram is Twitter except with pictures. You follow people, and they might follow you back. And when you want to post something, you take a picture on your mobile device, add a caption if you want, then post it. It then will show up in the "news feed" of the people who "follow" you. If you like the picture then you "like" it. However, if a person you're following "blows up" your news feed with pictures that you could care less about then a lot of people will "un-follow" you, because they don't want you to "blow up" their news feed again with pictures they don't care about. And to be truthful BGW only needed to post 1 picture, to get the simple message out that "Today is LNM's Birthday!" But they still posted 2, because they wanted to. Most of the people on Instagram could've cared less anyway, but a lot of people still commented on it saying "Happy Birthday LNM," "This was My first coaster, I love it" etc.

Also, those pictures were probably their most "liked" pictures on Instagram, so overall, 2 pictures was all they needed to get the birthday word out, which they obviously did a good job at.

Edit: I wasn't trying to be mean to you, just wanted to explain why they only posted 2 pictures. And don't worry you didn't sound rude at all.

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

No she means that the park only posted two shots from the ride on Instagram, which seems a bit odd considering they had a professional photographer at the event and a slew of social networking tools out there outside of Instagram to work with.

Hell, I don't understand why the park can't do something simple as post a new photo album from the event to Facebook. It makes no sense. If the park took the effort to actually upload one of their professional shots off a digital camera to Instagram (which my faith in this place is slipping further at this point if that was the case), they definitely have the time to upload a photo album to Facebook.

And to people who were involved with the shoot, this is a little disappointing. There were many more pictures taken in different places. And would definitely like to see the "untouched" original shots. Not a big fan of what they did with the Instagram filters and whatnot making them looked aged and artsy-fartsy. :)

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

I found the links to the photos on Instagram. Thanks to JuniorBGWfan28 for pointing them out. Between Twitter, Facebook, Pintrest, and the Forums.. I haven't had that must time to utilize and enjoy Instagram.

Here is the second loop photo: [instagram=http://instagram.com/p/aOy9KwRH0J/]

First Hill photo: [instagram=http://instagram.com/p/aOzbCPRH01/]

I agree with Jewlz and Netdvn: I was still hoping they would have eventually added something to Facebook. More traffic visits their Facebook page than Instagram and Nessie's Birthday never made it there. Sadly.

RE: BGW's Facebook Page

I personally don't have a problem with the park adding filters to make their photos look nicer, but the filters they used don't make the picture look "vintage" or "artsy". They look ugly.

Coming from someone who still carries a flip phone around and can't upload photos directly to Instagram, it's impossible to upload photos from your camera without downloading a third party app to your computer and a change of settings to Instagram itself. Uploading to Facebook is 100x easier and you'll get the audience that can't/doesn't use Instagram. Just too bad they can't do it for some reason.

- My filters look so much better than the ones they used
