Did Matthew just quote the BGW Rocks page or something? :p

I've been going to haunted attractions since about that age and I have always loved them . Everyone is different. I don't think it's fair to condemn someone based on their age. I wouldn't recommend it to an 8 year old but their are definitely some mature enough to enjoy it.

Edit: just realized that this reply is about two weeks late.

Has anyone tried sending pictures to this email address: BuschGardensinWilliamsburg@gmail.com

The park is asking people on social media to send in pictures to that email for a veteran project. It seems fairly odd the park would use a Gmail address instead of one of their @buschgardens.com address?

Hot Cocoa Happy Hour, is anyone going? The park created this event on their Facebook page:

If you're going to be in the park this Friday, join us for Hot Cocoa Happy Hour. The first 75 guests to join will be sent a link that will allow them to RSVP to the event.

RSVP information is getting sent out today.

Has anyone mentioned the web series the park was doing on their youtube channel before all these thing occur last Friday?

I feel like the already minuscule marketing budget could be a little better spent...

They are two different departments though at BGW, their budgets are separate, the people have different jobs. They do not intermingle in terms of money and people at BGW, whether they have similar objectives or not, therefore Marketing money is not spent on these things, which is what I think people were getting out of your post.

Fair enough.

It is worth pointing out though, that the social media part of the marketing department is one of the only parts of it not to be layed-off recently. So basically, the marketing department budget(or what it's been reduced to) is all basically being turned over to social media now.

After a short absence some form of social media is back it appears. Yesterday the park posted a picture on Instagram teasing new F&W booths and they were active today as they liked my photo.
