Now this is a complaint that makes me test my self control from responding, especially in a very harsh tone.

busch sucks i hate how howl o scream has gone downhill over the years back before all this dark side of the gardens junk it was way better when they had jack i hate the dead line and root of evil and still dont get how that maze survived despite complaints and now with the demon street junk and the club casket thing and now the fiends show??? i want to be scared not fell like im in some broadway show you guys have ruined halloween for people who pay more for busch than kings dominon?? im considering buying passes for kings next year since haunt is way better highly dissapointed and think since you guys rake in all that dough you could invest the effort to at least be as good as halloween haunt considerng kings dominion passes are less expensive considering i was at wal mart and asked someone who worked there his opinion and he said it was better when jack was there hmmmm not good when someone who works there says it sucks!!!!!

Let me try to rewrite the post for clear understanding:

Busch Gardens Williamsburg sucks. I hate how Howl-o-Scream has gone downhill over the years. Before all the Dark Side of the Gardens theme it was way better when they had Jack. I hate Deadline and Root of all Evil. I still do not get how that maze survived despite complaints. Now with Demon Street, Night Beats and now Fiends? I want to be scared not feel like I am in some broadway show. You guys have ruined Halloween for people who pay more for Busch Gardens Williamsburg than Kings Dominion. I am considering buying passes for Kings Dominion next year since Halloween Haunt is way better. I am highly disappointed and think since you guys rake in all that money you could invest the effort to at least be as good as Halloween Haunt considering Kings Dominion passes are less expensive. I was at Wal-Mart and asked someone who worked there his opinion. He said it was better when Jack was there. It's not good when someone who works there says it sucks!

Where are these exposed breasts? How did I miss that? You can take your kid to the mall and see more skin exposed! They give you plenty of pre-warning that after 6, kids gotsta go. Peye atansyon moun! Don't blame others for your shortsight!

Maybe I am missing something really obvious here. I admit that I don't shop at Wallie World and I have never had the opportunity to benefit from their employee training program, so maybe this makes perfect sense to those in the know. Please help me out here. What special insight do Wal Mart employees have that would lead us mere mortals to seek their wisdom and guidance on the highly controversial and complex issue of Halloween events at regional theme parks?

I ask because I feel ignorant, and as we all understand, knowing is half the battle.

I love Rocky Horror. While he is watching half naked nurses and I can watch the speedo guy. So it's a "win win" situation for me. :D

My 11 yr old Granddaughter visited the Busch Gardens with her school mates over the past weekend, an employee dressed up in Halloween attire with a play chainsaw, chase her for 10 minutes, and she was petrified, she fell skinning her knees, wrists, stomach and hands, paramedics were called the injuries were minor but could have been worse....and the employee was immediately fired, When a child is scared, LEAVE THEM ALONE! And congrats to Busch Gardens on their decision

Please someone tell me this lady is lying! That poor team member doing his job and then getting fired, it can not be!

I agree, PR. That would be terrible for the employee to be fired for doing his job. Assuming the part about the girl getting hurt is true, I'm sure the guy felt bad enough already. And assuming this was in Demon Street or possible New France, there is absolutely NO was there is truth to the girl being chased for 10 minutes. Believe me, I have run from Rhinefeld to Killarney in much less than 5 (don't ask why--I know I shouldn't run, but I do...). not only would this require the actor to venture way out of his zoned area, there is no way the actor would have chased a girl for ten minutes.

I certainly hope the girl is okay, but that is to be expected at a Halloween event. This goes right back to the "children unable to handle the scares at HOS" thing. Plus, it is stated in numerous places that running is not allowed. I dunno, but I really hope the poor actor didn't get fired for that.

I don't know why so many parents are freaking out. It's though as if you take your child to a scary movie and they run out screaming and crying and have nightmares. Don't take them in the first place!

We have been coming to Busch Gardens ever since we moved to Virginia in 1990. We were never disappointed.

When Howl-o-scream opened up until about 2 years ago it was fun and scary. If we didn't want to get scared we went to a brighter area.

You've lost your touch. You've dumbed it to the point that its no longer worth the effort to come.

Specifically: there was not enough fog; the scare zones were very disappointing where characters were talking to the people behind concession stands and another was taking pictures with guests.

What happened to the sign that said "after 6:00 p.m be prepared to be frightened".

If you're accommodating people who complain that they can't take their children then they should be taking their children to the local nursery where they have children's events. You should have on your website that Howl-o-scream is no longer meant to be frightening but fun for the whole family.

Also you accommodated those who complained about DarKastle being too rough. Isn't there a sign that reads "those with back or neck issues ....."

While I'm on my soapbox if you're making the park so family friendly, why are
people allowed to walk the them park with alcohol?

You need to decide what you want the park to be. Then be prepared to loose the clientele who who like the park the way was. While your dumbing the park down you should also consider dumbing down the cost to get in or raise the discounts on products with season passes.

While the roller coasters are great (can no longer include DarKastle) and the shows are entertaining it's not worth the 2-1/2 hour ride. We might as well travel to Cedar Point in Ohio where they focus on roller coasters.

Finally we're sad that your falling into the world of complying with whiners.
