Looks like the puritans are finally catching wind that Fiends is back this year. The sad thing is that most of them are saying "You took out Jack and put in that." while ignoring that Dig it Up is actually a family show.

I would also like to tell them, "If your kids liked Jack is Back, your kids are idiots."

"I have been coming to Howl-o-scream since it started..I can't believe that you got rid of "Monster Stomp" That was an awesome show..and family friendly!! I didn't like "Fiends" at all. The best part of the show was the frog man and Egore. You need to change that show...I know that with time you need to update shows...but that was not a good choice. The dancers were good, that is not what I'm implying. The whole show was very provocative. I also miss "Jack"..he is part of whole Howl-o-scream theme..."

I guess the nature of Jack is Back beings party show is what people liked. They didn't really care too much about the type of music played or the characters, they just enjoyed it because it seemed like a party to them and their kids could have fun.

Also Jack is not part of the Howl-o-Scream theme. He is an UNUSED RETIRED icon for Howl-o-Scream. I swear, these people need to visit a park like Tampa and get used to having the theme/icon change every year.

So here an idea for those parents who take their kids to howloscream and don't want them scared why don't you guys make a glow necklace that means please don't scare me :),,just an idea

Really? Worst idea in the history of ideas. Do you know how many different light up lanyards there are already? Do you know how distracting that is from the atmosphere? Do you know that Howl-o-Scream is not appropriate for kids? Do you know that wearing something of the sort may actually attract scare actors? Do you know how bad of a mixed message that is to parents? Did you honestly think this idea through?

I have a worse story. In fear Fair, a staff member was taking a child(maybe 9 or 10?) and was giving her a non-scare tour of a haunted house to see if she was ready...omg.

Saw this on fb when a prude is upset about Fiends.

"I haven't seen the gore you refer to. I guess it is possible they have taken some of the haunting too far. i wouldn't know because I don't go for the houses. However, I can say, it is hall-o-scream not sexoscream. Adults who are looking for that type of entertainment have plenty of other options and they can get it year round."

My response:

So what you are saying is, it is perfectly acceptable to have gore because you don't choose to go into those attractions that say they are not appropriate for children, however it is not acceptable to have sex because you choose to go into an attraction/show that says it is not appropriate for children.

Their logic is flawed and makes no sense. So hypocritical.

In last week's Simpsons episode they were depicting the Myans predicting 2012 and another character says "and it will be Obama's fault!"

everyone blames the president. If Mitt Romney wins then people will be blaming Obama. Another post says he's in the park? I'm assuming he's kidding but we are a swing state...

He's in WBurg for debate prep, but I doubt he'll be hitting the tourist attractions while he's here.

Obama probably won't be in the park, but Michelle and the kids might go to the park sometime.

Also, The only major HOS issues on their page have been capacity complaints, with a dab of Fiends complaints, but definitely not as many as last year.
