Okay, in the tunnel, there are a few things:

-A static model of the monsters belly as soon as you enter the tunnel (on the upper left hand corner of the ceiling).

-A set of screens on the left (inside wall) that were turned off for public rides. This shows the monster simply swimming.

-One screen on the right (outside wall) that has the monster roaring at the train. Depending on the dispatch time, you may not see it as the video is on a constant loop.

-There is lighting shining on all static theming around the screens and on the belly in the mountain.

The statue is at loop #2. No regular guests have seen it because it was put up this week while the park was closed. It is a physical encounter with the head of Nessie coming out of the water.

The story goes, if you listen carefully, you find nessie in the cave (on the right screen), on lift 2 the narrator is basically saying "you found him, hurry, he's after you!" And then a roar. Then loop #2 is another roar and you escaping from the monster and then the final brake is basically congratulations you found him and escaped.
Perfect! Makes sense now. I have zero idea what a static model is but please don't feel obligated to explain that as well- assume whenever I make it to the park I'll understand lol. Thanks!
As in the screen on the outside wall of the cave, not outside outside. Sorry, I should've been clearer lol
No worries!

I think it would be cool if they added a mist effect to the Nessie statue (as long as it is not like Submarine Quest's mist effect).

These changes are phenomenal

Man if only Pantheon could get just HALF this level of love and theming in an upcoming off season! And possibly a renovation of Verbolten effects! Those two upgrades and these Nessie upgrades would really put BGW back in the thematic league it belongs in! These are the type of things I’d LOVE to see for the parks 50th!

Yeah the soundtrack is quite nice and there's a musical build in the same theme that plays with dispatches. Agreed the screens on the left are not very effective because they are so close to the train, but it makes you realize how little space they had to work with in there. If you get the right timing, the screen on the right is pretty cool. The audio/music throughout the ride definitely helps drive the ride a lot and the station and queue are fantastic.
I think it would be cool if the statue had a fog/mist effect of some kind, but I'm not mad if the park decided to cut their losses on something they probably wouldn't maintain longer term. I hope the Festhaus Park project will deliver a similar level of theme.
