I heard a RUMOR that the trains arrived last Sunday and we're unloaded after the close of operations that night. I want to be very clear I rate this as RUMOR as it does NOT come from a source with a great track record.

Unrelated, but if that water/ice tunnel thing actually makes it into the ride that alone will be more theming than all of the theming on Emperor, Ice Breaker, Iron Gwazi, and probably Catapult Falls and SWO's surf coaster combined 🤩

It’s a shame no one will notice any of the theming once they’re on the ride :(

To be fair, I'm pretty sure that the leftover theming from DarKastle already does that.

I cannot believe they won't open in time to take advantage of it in the colder weather!
I am not sure you rule out an early opening date from that as Pantheon's we're not valid till June 1 despite open in the Spring. On top if this we should remember that this is a first of this style coaster for BGW I would assume that given Pantheon's growing pains they are going to want to test out a lot of stuff before settling on an opening date June certainly give them time to make sure they are comfortable before naming an opening date.

Christmas Town is a marketable enough event in itself already, why would they shoot themselves in the foot by opening a coaster at the same time?
I think the discussion in the past has been about a possible February or March opening to try to boost attendance for those slower days. Honestly I could see a marketing plus to BGW opening the first new coaster of the year that might multiply the effect of this relatively minor coaster on attendance.

Upcoming announcement at IAAPA next week: Further details on DarKoaster!

Holovis was involved in projects like Mystic Timbers & Wickerman (Media, A/V, projection mapping, etc.), so I find this decently exciting!
This announcement makes me a little worried about any historical tie in to Curse of Darkastle as that was a Falcons Treehouse job.
