Just a humble reminder that the first person to mention possible new developments with the DK site was @Zachary but me. just saying

But @Zachary knew long before he could say anything.
I said it in jest. I had very vague information and about the only really hard stuff that I thought was credible was that entertainment was getting kicked out. All of my info was coming from sources so far down the food chain that it had to be somewhat widely known at least as rumor and definitely would not be easily tracked back to s single person.

Now I feel like this is the BGW we know and love in a way. A unique one off coaster with elements used in an interesting way. Hope it gets themed, but man I wish that first trick track could have been something really different.

I have a feeling my opinions about this ride personally will hinge completely on the quality of theming. If it's well-themed, I could see it becoming one of my favorites in the park. If not...probably an easy one to skip on busy days. The trick is really cool though and I could see it leading to a very cool theming element if BGW chooses to take advantage. Definitely a great investment for the park though. Looking forward to taking my nephews on this when it opens.

Edit: I meant to echo what others have said. It is absolutely insane that they figured out a way to do this ride in a building of this size. I know we speculated a lot about it going outside, and I am actually very surprised that they pulled this off fully indoors.

I'm impressed at how much of a layout they are managing to fit entirely into the existing building with no building modifications, even with the gimmick. The bypass track gimmick as promised is both incredibly simple and incredibly genius - I'm surprised we've never seen this before as far as I know?

In the end this ride will be as good as the theming they commit to. I really, really hope the brake run and bypass track in particular get extensive theming to the point where those sections of the ride are essentially turned into a dark ride. There's only so much they can do with the spaghetti bowl section and obviously there isn't much else to it.

My wish:
The first switch track was actually a turn table with a launch into the bypass. It would be awesome if the second go round carried a little more speed (up to 40 than 30).

Seems to be in roughly the same class of rides as Laff Trak at HP in terms of audience, which based on that rides success should bode well for the family and general guest populace.

Pretty much what I thought about it when I figured the parlor trick out.

There's definitely some ideas they can do for the themeing, some physical effects, sound, all that jazz. They just gotta make sure it's good enough that the station is essentially isolated from the rest of the ride so that it doesn't get spoiled for prospective riders waiting in line.
