Ok, from a standpoint of if they wanted to make absolutely no changes to the Santa setup and then poor planning of the HOS mazes setup inside DK then even I agree that there is no room. However, there is no reason, other than than money and the lack of interest by the park to rework the santa area, two mazes and a lounge to all fit. The oversized rooms and unthemed paths in both mazes is a massive part of the failure of both houses to me. Here is another thought...yes it involves money....have one maze on the first floor and one on the second. Thats right creat a second floor for a maze or better yet create a second floor and put the members lounge up there with special rooms at HOS that they open us just for the haunt event that look down into the mazes. With the size of the building there could be gradual ramps built around the outer edges to avoid the need for elevators to make it accessable. To say there is no room thought is like putting one shoe in the middle of s shoebox and saying theres no room for a second. With a little reworking and money it could be done.
Again, you seriously are overthinking the amount of room in Darkastle. Every venue is wall to wall and connected to an entrance or exit meaning no matter which way you slice it there is no way a lounge could fit, that's just my opinion, also there is no way the structure of Darkastle could handle a second story right? Correct me if I'm wrong, is there even enough height. Does anyone know if the Willkomen house would be plausible?

There is enough room but I find it highly unlikely that the park would spend the kind of cash that it would take to build a second story area just for a lounge. And honestly if they did even as much as I would like one I would seriously question if it was money well spent.

Willkomen is also not likely. The location by LofD is ideal for a ice cream shop so I don't see them moving that. Also it has found fairly profitable use seasonally house the escape rooms and Mrs Clause's cookie shop.

Personally I think Castle O'Sullivan might be z goin choice as it seems to be under utilized most of the year.

I'd prefer not to have to traipse all the way to Oktoberfest to enjoy a lounge. Somewhere near transportation would be nice. Just my lazy opinion.. ha.

So I had an interesting idea today (shower thoughts really) on this topic.

Last offseason that filing posted for a building being RPT, and it was an ok size. So what if instead of retro-fitting a building to be a members lounge, they built one new ground up? Yes I know that's an expense for the park but picture this:

A gate that looks like the entrance to a French Palace, where you show your membership to get it. A beautiful walkway that is grass and gardens back to the building. 3 story building+basement designed to look like a French chateau. 1st floor is a general lounge. Indoor seating, outdoor patio facing the train as it passes by. Nice chairs out there. Basically a welcoming relaxation area. Floor 2 is a members only sit down dining area with indoor/outdoor seating. Full service menu. 3rd floor is mostly open terrace, but it's a roof top bar that's 21+ only. Tall enough for night time fireworks viewing, a view into RPT for night time shows as well. I mentioned a basement, and that would be the wine cellar. Another 21+ only area that's strictly a wine bar. Put it down under the building so you really feel like you are in a chateau's cellar.

Entrance is at RPT's entrance, flip the concessions stand to the other side of the walkway, make it wider for the member lounge entrance exit.

Now you got a nice members only area/lounge, but it's out of the way, never in a threat to be taken over by something else, and you feel like you get your money's worth.

Here is the basic information. We have also created a spreadsheet comparing old and new Memberships, which should be out soon. Apparently we are grandfathered for 12 months (from purchase) under the old plan. That said, I have trouble believing that we will actually be able to use Old Premier in Florida...

Unless I overlooked it in the thread but did anyone notice they dropped the price from $28.99 to $23.19. that is a lot more palatable than the $28.99.

That is with 20% discount promotion that they are offering for new members if you sign up for ezpay or outright buy a new pass. My contract runs out in March and suposedly at that time my cost will change to $22 from the $20 a month for Premier or for a $1 more I am guessing I could drop my current plan and start a new one and get the ride again access by switching to a Platinum membership.

BGW really needs to hire you.

Sounds a bit pricey to me. That'll end up in us just complaining about higher membership fees.

Does anybody know if BG will be opening the customer service building to redeem passes ahead of the preview day? I envision a lot of people redeeming passes at the kiosks if there is no choice but to wait until pass preview day. Just curious.

They did it last year but that was because they were switching to the new membership program and anticipating long lines. I haven't seen anything about that happening this year.

Thanks, lilleape. I hope they offer it again this year. I guess we'll see.

Not sure this is the place for it but saw this morning where they are offering free season passes to preschoolers from age 3 to 5 again this year. Supposed to be good through HOS.

They just sent out an email, Early Redemption Days are March 12-15 from 10am-7pm.

I may have missed it so sorry if the answer has already been posted, but does anyone know how long the Platinum Pass discount will be available? I've got the Premier right now and am planning a Florida trip with some friends in May so the Platinum Pass for just $3 more a month is intriguing.

Anyone else having issues with their linked pass not showing up when they log in? I called and they said it showed as linked however when I log in it does not show. They came to the lame conclusion that it was their website acting up and to give it a few days.

So my 12th month on my membership payment will go through on 2/24. I have the pre-Oct premier at $20/month. Anyone know if the monthly cost will go up starting next month? If it's going to go up, maybe it'll be worth upgrading to the platinum pass during the sale.

As we always go as a family, I figured we were better off keeping just one membership, and the rest of the family getting the Black Friday 2 park fun cards instead. So, I need to cancel the rest of the family's memberships. I know I have to make the final payment. But, am I better off calling to cancel before the payment goes through, or after?

We currently have absolutely no idea what will happen to Grandfathered Premier pass prices as they hit their one year anniversary. We're all sailing off into the darkness together here.

Maybe the best option is to call SEAS right after the final payment goes through and ask what your next payment would be if you don't cancel?

IN the same boat here, one Premier at $20.00, two $15.00 A month, totaling $50.00 Monthly.

Haven't received any E-mails as to what any new rates would be, guess after the 26th I get to spend A good chunk of time on hold.

Hopefully we will stay grandfathered in but who knows.

Will post A reply in this thread after I call Customer Service after our payment clears.

Here is a photo of a small part of the over 7 foor long register reciept contract from our renewal dated 2/6/18. I was under the impression that the rates were guarenteed for 5 years, the only change was we were given the $2 disount for the first 12 payments or one year. After that it went back to the $22 monthly per person. Afyer 5 years if the price changes we would be notified and that anytime after that 5 years price could change at any time thereafter.
