Oh, totally agree. Just didn't want people who are newer to Christmas Town to get the impression that the recent mediocrity is just how things have always been. Suspiciously, the park looked far better decorated from above when they were advertising millions-fewer lights.

Well, at least from the air, you can’t see how brown all the cut Christmas trees are from a lack of watering……

How many of them are cut and how many are live?

Last I recall, much of the little trees were cut and set up in October so there's practically no way they'd last much into December being mostly green.

I don't know why they didn't just opt for fake trees wherever they could get away with it

Has the park said what rides will be open for Christmas Town 2023? Any news yet, whether DarKoaster will be added to that lineup? I only went to the park once this season, so I'm looking to get another visit in before December? I'm doubtful that December's weather will favor the park this season. I live four hours from the park, so I want to avoid a long drive if December weather is not going to be good.

My wife and I are planning to go to Williamsburg the week after Christmas. How busy is Christmas Town the week after? We have a 5 year old that isn’t fond of crowds.

Somehow, they have not that I've seen. This year's Christmas Town QuickQueue currently lists Alpengeist, Battering Ram, Der Autobahn, Der Wirbelwind, Flying Machine, Kinder Karussel, Le Catapult, Pantheon, Peppermint Twist, Snowman Summit, and Verbolten. That won't be an exhaustive list, but it gives us some idea of the lineup.

It will almost certainly operate. If it doesn't, that would be quite a bizarre twist.

The park is unlikely to be empty but, historically, crowds have typically fallen off notably after Christmas. One of the better times to schedule a trip in my opinion.

As someone who has gone to CT both before and after Christmas for several years, I can attest to the fact that the crowds are much better after Christmas. We prefer to go after Christmas nowadays as a last Christmas event for the year, because the pre-Christmas CT crowds have been pretty insane recently.

You are wise to avoid going to this park if the weather is not perfect I was there in June this year, and they closed at 4 PM one day because of low attendance on a rainy day. They will close the entire park for a low attendance.

How do you know the park was closed for low attendance?
