I am a bit worried about the columns in San Marco's Da Vinci's Gardens area.  I think the years of erosion- rust has begun to take its toll.  Oh poor Columns... wish there was a way where I could patch you all up.

Anyway, LOTD had at least 10 years before it started going down the slippery slope, because it was built correctly, and built to last. FOF just barely made it past 4. That's what happens when you build something poorly, and something that looks temporary. The only time where LOD was really, really bad was around 2011-2013, before that they did keep up with general repairs and kept things looking somewhat fresh.

Wow, that's really bad, I really wouldn't be mad at anybody who reported them to JCC, in fact I almost feel like reporting them. That's really ridiculous.

They could still fine them for having wires exposed in a public accessible place, it doesn't matter if they're live or not.

You would think that they would at least tape the hands back on, and make the tape look like a watch, or something like that. I wonder how long it's been like that.

That thing could be a pile of broken parts, and it would still look the same as it originally had, ugly as ****(insert any curse word you'd like).

Who would assume the park broke the turtle?

This is a thread to point out what's missing, that should be brought back, and to recognize things that are broke, that the park needs to fix. Just because we post it here doesn't mean we think it's the park's fault.

And in this particular situation you have to ask "Well, it's not the park's fault, but is it something they could've controlled/prevented?"

Matthew, I don't believe anyone would ever believe the park intentionally damages anything. However, over time some things do degrade and will eventually deteriorate and that is the park's fault for not maintaining it.

The fountain is an example that the park is not letting it just degrade. They are actively fixing it.
