I know those boxes are supposed to look worn and weathered but I don't think they need to go to the extreme of falling apart and into the ride area causing an Estop while maitance fishes them out.

Maybe I'm not seeing the same thing, but I just see decorative items not interfering with operations? Hard to tell from the pictures how broken up they are otherwise...

There was one actually falling to pieces some of those actually made it into the water including one that a boat actually struck before they knew it was there. I tried circling the relevant parts if you look closely you can see one barely on the corner there were two other pieces actively floating in the water.

First picture is deceptive but the second with your highlight is easier to see - thanks!

Been laid up for the past 3 months but made it to BGW yesterday for the first time in a while. Finally! The reason for the post here is we took our food from the Virginia kiosk to the deck seating behind the sweet shop. I was disappointed to see rotten decking boards. One was big enough for a child to step into or a chair leg. I hate to say it but it looked like a lawsuit waiting to happen. It's not like it was hidden.

Was that yesterday? I live less than 5 miles away and the sun was shining all day. Never saw any rain. We need it bad. Walking on my grass is like walking on crunchy straw.

Same, can get flooded here and none at park...or half an inch on one side of park and not a drop on other side....

That really shouldn't be happening. They have enough vertical relief on each side down into the swales. The surface drains and connecting pipes are just way undersized. It is unfortunate that the original designers didn't create a way for excessive surface water to drain away.

Does anyone know what's up with the clock tower in Germany? I don't see any figures. I heard it go off thinking the figures would come out but nothing happened. I recall at least being able to see the figures when it was stationary in the past but they're out of commission right now

They are currently being completely renovated for the first time since 1973. The figurines predate the park. They look INCREDIBLE, by the way. The amount of character and detail they are receiving is encouraging to see.
