Oh, certainly very high. It proves how CONCERNED you are for their welfare, and how VIGILANT you are about protecting them.

I would say, it is fine to be concerned, make a complaint once or twice, but don't overdo it a bubble wrap the park! Think of all the ugliness that will pursue from the park being bubble wrapped. Then all the kids would have popped all the bubbles in just a few days!

Some parents were complaining on the FB page about a song that was played prior to the Bridget Midler concert. The song had the words sh*t and b*tch in it. Does anybody know what they are talking about?

I am fairly certain that it was 'I Love It' by Icona Pop

That isn't even a bad song, I mean yeah it has two words in it, but honestly their kids should know the song by now. Although I think they probably should have used the radio version if parents are really going to fuss about it.

This actually may be a legitimate concern. If potty mouth words are slipping in here and there, how long until we get some F-Bombs? Like Zachary likes to say, don't get complacent and accept this kind of sh!utz. Maybe the DJ or whoever needs to be more careful with his choices in an open venue that is going to have kids and families. That music is LOUD. And you can here it just walking by into France.

I'm actually with ChickenKing here. I'm sure the reactions from parents were absurdly over dramatic and uncalled for, but I don't think it's a non-issue like some of you. The park screwed up. Is it going to permanently scar the ears of the poor little innocent children? No. Should they fix whatever problem led to that song being played? Yes.

The park should not be playing curse words, that is just kind of trashy. That song does use chick on some radio channels but i know on 100.5 it is the b word. Does not really excuse BGW, I'm just saying that it's a word that's out there, i doubt these parents are calling the radio stations. I just don't like all the mainstream music at the park.

My favorite as well. My only concern is the loud broadcast in an open/public venue. There is no choice; what is played is at the discretion of the DJ or whatever. I for one would be perfectly happy hearing PANTERA blasting...WALK!!

That is one of my sister stations, trust me, they get calls. They are all told the same thing, "listen to something else then."

I'm not preaching either. But, the level of quality we allow and tolerate (mentioned elsewhere by Zachary) applies here and to the concert in my opinion. There is a park up the road if you want that kind of entertainment.

EDIT: Not to mention the type of dancing these kids were seeing, by some older people, that even made me cringe. But it still comes back to and centers on our "complacency and willingness to settle for mediocrity". Leave mediocrity to the park up the road.

Yes I'm with you on this too it should be the edited version, and the funny thing most of the complaints from the parents about certain song played had Tweens who were using worse potty mouth words than said song, so it's win or lose today I guess you know I was cursed out by a 7 year old at Tampa park on a big church bus trip day. So guess times change and being 40 now have you seen how some kids act now not all kids but omg you can't blame the music but I do agree with Zachary and you all, keep it clean it still is a Family oriented vacation park
