I'm so glad you got a good shot of the stage from the front. As close as I was, I couldn't see the whole backdrop. Then I ran out of time and forgot to do it later due to rain. ;)

Ditto on the music. But to be fair, this show was about dancin' and booty shakin'.

Thanks CK! Here's another shot of the full stage zoomed back just a little to get the full setup.

Hopefully some caring employees set them straight so they could go ahead and get on with their day after a little disappointment instead of wasting time there.

Some people still went straight to the RPT and stood in line.

In line at 10 am, even. Who was this girl? Anyway, by 1 pm the line got to Pet Shenanigans. It was a traffic nightmare. Imagine half of Hanna's path roped off to the middle and the crowd doing the two-way cluster through the other half of the walk. We didn't go that way again the rest of the day.

Oh, and CK, the tweeny minions were everywhere not watching where they were going. With adults doing the suddenly-stop-in-the-middle-of-the-walkway thing. Not with this foot traffic congestion!

ToddF had to park in Scotland just to get in.

Did I mention it was crowded?

The line is only for people with tickets who want to get closer seats than other people. I think they are fools for waiting in line especially because every seat is a great seat in that theater.

With that said, the park can't really do away with the line because they can't tell people not to be there, they'd all crowd around France and things would be worse. I'd rather have a somewhat disorganized line than a jam packed air space only hamlet.

The show & food combo is well worth it here. My time is valuable and won't be wasted standing in line all day at a park I had to pay to get in. Show up 30 minutes before show time after a dinner. Reserved seats...Good to go.

They seriously need to do away with this early line stuff. It is ridiculous.

I agree. They didn't have the ticketed "reserved" seating for years and things went fine on the Labor Day weekend oldies concerts they used to have which were always in the RPT. Granted the rest of the concerts were at the Festhaus Park. I emailed my displeasure to the park about this after going to Styx and actually got a formal response letter back which I appreciated. Who knows if it will change next year.

I entered both the Styx and KC shows around 6:20pm, which would have meant I almost wouldn't have needed the ticket. I was sitting three rows back and six rows back respectively in the upper section so I had real good seats even entering about 40min or so before the show. I could have had slightly closer seats but I would have had the support girder in my way.

walked past the line at like 4 PM, did not look like fun, then when I was on the train I heard the concert. She was WAYYYY out of tune and was singing another artists song.and from what I heard the concert ended at 8:00, what time did the others end? Seems awfully short to me....

Walked by the RPT around 7:30 after CT finale. Show was full swing. Place looked less than half full on a beautiful evening. What gives? K.C. & The Sunshine Band was packed...in the rain!! For two hours!! This act must not be a big a draw as some thought. Then again, the MTV Awards was on tonight.

The difference between the oldies groups in previous years versus the Bridgit Mendler concert is the oldies groups didn't bring in a large crowd that is idiotically insane to sit and wait for the absolute closest seats.

I am sure they brought in a decent sized crowd, but not to the extent of these newer people.

With that said I think the VMAs ruined the Hot Chelle Rae concert altogether. I even got reserved seats for the HCR concert, and then didn't go to the concert and instead spent the night with a friend watching the VMAs.

The line for Saturday's concert went down to Ireland while yesterday's wasn't even half that around 4. That being said, the park was packed both days because of the nice weather. By the time I walked out of the park at five, the Scotland lot on Saturday was already half full. Sunday parking was better, but the park felt about as crowded as it did Saturday.

Some parents were complaining on the FB page about a song that was played prior to the Bridget Midler concert. The song had the words sh*t and b*tch in it. Does anybody know what they are talking about?

I am not sure, but honestly I think they are getting way too worked up about it. I don't think the words were said repeatedly but once. I am sure they are the same parents who complain the HOS is too scary.
