Wait, I know this joke! It’s the one about the condescending self-styled expert who thinks a hobbyist forum will be easy pickings to push around and thereby assuage their insecurities, but who unexpectedly gets mopped up and resorts to their true core skill of childish antics before fucking off under the facade of glib indifference.

It wasn’t funny back in 1994 either.
Hey, I never ever fuck off.

I understand the confusion with my later bros post but what I meant was off to another forum like right now this instant. Of course I will come back to park fans. Still have to find out all the rumors so I can be l33t bros

Interesting data point:

A few excerpts:

A Pennsylvania high school reverted to virtual classes last week, but it wasn’t because of coronavirus fears. It was because of “credible threats” after student fights.

In a Waldorf, Md., high school, a school resource officer was assaulted as three separate fights unfolded in the hallways and one spilled into the student parking lot. And in a large fight at a high school outside Columbus, Ohio, nine teachers were injured and seven students were charged with aggravated riot.

Anecdotally, teachers and even some students say the level of disturbance this fall has gone far beyond years past. In some cases, students are unaccustomed to following the rules that govern a school building.

“I have seen and heard a lot more violence … than in previous years,” he said. “There have been fights break out that result in blood on the floor and lockers and broken or bruised faces.”

Got to increase the cost of going to school. Should stop those fights!

I say I bet if we charge everyone $10,000 there would be less fighting l.

I don’t know why y’all all getting all rolling eyes. I’ve just repeated your point of view.

Making things cost more increases the perceived value and decreases fighting. Right?

I'm not sure if you are intentionally missing my point or if you really don't understand that I was offering some evidence that there is a larger societal problem. And honestly, I'm not sure which is worse.

My post was (once again) not making a claim as to cause or advocating for a solution. As I said clearly in the post, I was offering an interesting data point.

I am getting very tired of your putting words in my mouth. I am equally tired of repeating over and over again that you are misrepresenting my point of view.

But please, don't miss an opportunity to derail discussion with a snarky non sequitur.

For a moment i thought we were done.

Am I meant to apologize for presenting legitimate information about an on-going and troubling trend in the park? No one is forcing you read this thread, if it bothers you, but I cannot support suppressing discussion conversation about a valid topic just because we have one member posting rude and aggressive comments apparently in bad faith.

I never quoted you or said you said anything. I was repeating other people’s arguments. Everything isn’t about you.

My comment wasn’t rude or aggressive. Sarcastic, maybe.

Changing the subject.

This weekend should hopefully be the end of BGW's "fall fighting season!"

Crowds don't normally start to get bad until after Thanksgiving so between next weekend and Thanksgiving, hopefully this thread won't have any new brawls to consider.
