This has always been there, but it has not been working for many years. I think the last time it was working was well before the pandemic and when they were selling on-ride photos still.


On another note, there were subtle differences in this between the Carowinds and KD version of the ride in this room (Scooby doo and boo blasters). At caoriwnds, the photo was captured as the stacked box gag went off in the room. At KD, the photo is taken before that and was taken while guests would be focused on aiming the blasters on the targets so it owls look like youre focused and aimed on targets nearby. I don't know if it was changed in the Carowinds version later on or not though.

I have an old photo from Carowidns from the paramount era somewhere that shows this with everyone startled in the vehicle with me.

I’m pretty sure they added a new motion based light switch for the house lights in the station. It seems to like to shut off on its own.

The show lights at Boo Blasters are on a timer like most ride lights at KD. The work lights however automatically come on whenever the E-Stop is engaged.
