From what I could tell from the pictures posted on Facebook the first rows of seats are the VIP seats and the left and right gates were used as entrances.

Vaughan is correct.

TIP: If you want to see the band, wait until they close the gate on the right (nearest to the train tracks) and stand on the inside of the gate (behind the security). That's where they bring them in at.

Also just a little fun fact: The area behind the stage where the band goes before and after they perform is still themed for Polar Pathway. They've just taken out the walls and put some fancy, modern-looking couches, chairs, and tables around the room. It looks pretty ridiculous to tell you the truth.

I may be suckered into taking my daughter to go see Miranda Cosgrove... How do the concerts work, I'm assuming first come first serve at the theater, how far in advance should we be there waiting for seats? At least I get a day in the park, now if I could only get her to grow two more inches so she can ride Alpie and Griffon... :)

I have essentially the same question as mjones. I'm going Sunday to see Colbie Caillat(her music's pretty good, and not to mention she's drop dead gorgeous in a non mainstream-kinda-way) for my birthday. The concert starts at 7, so we should line up when? Someone on FB said 1 or 2, but I highly doubt that.

Theyre not that far off. You'd be shocked on how the line goes.

We'll be there. We got the dining passes. It's really a great deal. $22 for an entree and drink (could be about a $15 value depending on what you get), then preferred seating with no waiting in line. So the way I look at it, we're paying about $7-8 each for great seats and no waiting. I'll take that any day.

I just can't wait for the day they decide to get somebody to perform I actually want to see. They're playing it too safe with Christian and Teenybopper people.

To ScoutN --- As stated by the corny Griffon merch. 'Seriously?!?! Jeez What stinks most is that she more than likely is the largest artist (fame wise) in the line-up this year. Whatever, it's supposed to be 98-99 degrees all weekend here in Tidewater. Maybe that'll scare people away.

And I wouldn't really say Colbie is teenybopper. To tell you the truth lately she's been top 40.

Miranda Cosgrove will be insane. Both dining options for that show have been sold out for weeks. I'm not going anywhere near the park that weekend.

I stand corrected.

The Colbie Caillat concert tonight was great. Great setting, crappy, steamy weather, but great music. Definitely a great concert weekend. And she's gorgeous too...

Miranda line is over halfway around the park.

We actually won a meet and greet with her tomorrow night. My wife is taking my son. I knew it would be crazy. I hope they are braced for all of the complaining from people who waited in line for 3 hours and didn't get in.

Fixed. Yes there is that many people. I am texting someone who has been overseeing it all day.

Good on the win!

didn't you and your son win that? or did you guys give one back?

Technically my wife and I both won. (We both submitted responses on Twitter without knowing the other one did :) ) But one of us will have to stay with our 5 year old, who has no interest in doing the meet and greet. I told them it would just be my wife and son only, so don't know what they did from there.
