Attraction Batman the Ride

The ride operators on this ride need more training on how to select the speaker zones. It is even more annoying when they accidently leave the queue speakers on. They are too loud, almost as loud as Runaway Mine Train's station speakers.
There is a train on the tracks that was testing this weekend. Signs of life!

the big question is: did the station got renovated given that dumpster container outside of the ride a few weeks ago?
With how good Great Adventure has been at PR recently, I would be shocked if they renovated Batman’s theming and didn’t tell anyone.
Yeah, nothing I've seen on-site or in/around that dumpster suggests anything that substantial. Seems like just seasonal maintenance and some part(s) that needed replacing they had to wait on from whoever they sourced older parts from.

From my word, it really was just a fact that maintenance didn't sign off on the proper checks and to flatten out the tweaks, but with other areas that needed focus beforehand (Flume, Pier & Rapids) Batman was opted to be pushed back.

Park Vlog of July 11 from ARCM with a Batman update: he claims sources in maintenance who told him.....
1) the ride isn't in danger of closing permanently
2) it is expected to open in July
3) it could open as soon as this coming week
4) the delay was not a part but state safety regulations. It was not allowed to be certified to open this season before unknown changes were made
5) both trains are currently on the track
6) they've started playing the ambient music

Yes. And it's the only one AFAIK that doesn't have a "fat seat" or row for larger riders. It's never been modded like other inverts that came after. The opening was crazy. So much hype with Batman Returns and a next-gen coaster coming to the park.

How does Batman compare to Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg? After decades of operation Alpie is a painful head bashing ride and is often janky as hell. Haven't been to GA in years; is Batman what Alpie should be? I understand Batman is more intense and gives greyouts. True?
Seeing more from folks at the park today that Batman has been testing most of the day. So, they're in the process of getting it certified by the state to open, which it should in the next couple days unless there's a sudden and infuriating breakdown.

Aside from the Alpengeist's cobra roll, which might be the most intense element between the two coasters, I find the Batman clones way more intense. Batman is a much shorter ride, but it still manages to cram in a bunch of elements, and they come at you fast. The zero-G roll can cause severe head banging if you're not ready for it, which I don't experience that much of on Alpengeist personally. Since there's so much less track on Batman, you don't have to worry about the extremely abrupt and painful midcourse brakes that you get on Alpengeist. For what it's worth, Alpengeist, despite its flaws, is one of my favorite inverts, and I'd put a few others like Afterburn and Talon over any of the Batclones.
If you think alpie is that bad then I HIGHLY recommend to just stay away from inverts. Alpen is just fine smooth wise. I can ride it without ever hitting my head besides the midcourse
