Attraction Batman the Ride

Thought I'd start this since there may be renovations in the coming years.

For now, there are those utility markings on the ground under the lift hill extending over into Nitro's middle queue area, and, Batman hasn't opened yet for the season as of today. Anyone have any insights what's going on with it?

my guess, they redoing the queue line for batman the ride while nitro queue line gets renovated to fit in with pine barrens area

The fact that this iteration is now the 4th oldest B&M, 2nd oldest Batman: The Ride, has week-long extended closures throughout spans of years despite the model's reliability, and seems to be one of the last ones in the chain (both CF & legacy) to yet receive a refurbishment says a lot about its potential future. Would love to be proven wrong.

Let's also not forget that horrible pothole at the bottom of the second loop..

I once rode this particular Batman 60 times in a row in a little over two hours. Single train, nobody in queue, almost nobody on ride, didn't even have to leave seats between speedy dispatches. About 30 years ago.

By the end of the two hours, I was greying out for a few seconds during each ride cycle and wondering why I was still going. Then the queue was suddenly full of people and I had to end the marathon anyway. I was ready to be done.

These days I might do that again on a ride like Nitro, but don't think I would be able to repeat it on Batman. That's a young person's game...
