I wonder if London Rocks will end it's run, as soon as it does; will all of you be happy that Banbury Cross will be "restored" to it's "The Old Country" days or has the damages been done?

Unless you count a facade, a fake bus, and a bunch of flags as "damage" I don't think any damage has been done to the hamlet. The park could easily take all the props down.

You're right about that, at least it isn't to bad. Didn't I read somewhere in 2013 that the original plans was for a big re-theme of Banbury Cross to fit with "London Rocks", am I making that up? I just thank goodness that these minor props are what the final result was.

When I was there all I heard was the "British Rock" music, wasn't there classical music before in that hamlet?

I miss the old sitting area where Union Snacks is now, but I'm not too bitter about that. The snack stand seems to get a sizable amount of business, which I suppose is more important.

That is correct. During the production of London Rocks the overall project budget (originally included the hamlet overhaul) was sliced by about 65% leaving just the show budget with a little left over for some outside decorations.

I havent been since the overhaul of banbury. But im hoping its not too bad. Im a huge fan of the beatles but i really liked this hamlet. So i wish they could have left it alone. lol
