Not all advertising works. This is a good example.

When I see ads on You Tube that interrupt the viewing experience, I get a bad impression of the product and I am less likely to purchase.

Same here when this kind of advertising trashes the theming of the park.

Although in this case this entire ride trash is the park with its appearance lol. It’s one of the last remaining Paramount eyesores.

But when this trashy type of advertisement starts appearing on quality theme like the rest of Jungle X it is going to make me want to go out of my way not to purchase the product

A local, Virginia-based company sponsoring a local, Virginia - based park. What’s the problem?

The real million dollar question here is

Is the ride experience better now that the ride has a sponsor? Are effects working again? Has the park replaced any of the billboards scattered around the ride? The ride was in really rough shape in the past with effects turned off or broken and the billboards faded white. It would be nice to have working effects again.

I'm not 100% a fan of corporate sponsors but if that means we get better upkeep, I won't mind it.

Sometimes it just means the ride stays alive. The only reason EITA existed for so long was the Aire Linugs sponsorship.

Great point! So when they were are out of gas before, it was the park's fault. Now we can blame Skittles! Probably aren't as good as they used to be, judging from the ride.

I am very disappointed to see SKITTLES® and, by extension, their parent company, Mars Inc., embrace, endorse, and fund an attraction themed to reckless driving, property destruction, violent crime, and, most critically and most revoltingly, the blatant disrespect and disobedience of our immensely valued and widely beloved law enforcement officers. I am appalled to see Mars Inc., a children-focused candy company, engaging with this harmful material. Supporting the corruption of our youth in this way is absolutely disgusting. I will be letting Mars Inc.'s corporate public relations team know of my concerns and I encourage all other concerned candy fans to do the same. This must end.

/s... Unless...? 🤔
Considering Mars uses child labor to make their chocolate I’d say it’s a fitting sponsor.
