While I definitely don't think that much rockwork going to happen, It wouldn't take much to line the perimeter with sprinklers and plant pine trees that will grow in over the next 2 decades. It would be great, both for noise reduction and to create a more immersive space.

BEC/SEAS has a long, proud history of building sister coasters and that's really all this is. As long as each has a unique layout and a unique, location-appropriate theme, I really like these "cycles" of sister coasters.
Assuming this is a sister coaster to the now announced Darkastle it is safe to assume this may have a snowmobile theme since this is going to be something Arctic related.

I get the joke of no theming but doesn't it have to do with having access for evacuations? Ice Breaker absolutely because it's so compact, this is too. Its always safety

Eh. I disagree here. You can have both. Heck if you couldn’t DL, WDW, UH, UO would suck.

I think SEAS needs to find a middle ground here. Don’t need to fully theme (VBolt/DarKastle1.0) the entire thing, but more than bare bones (Emp/Panth) is needed. Personally I think InVadR strikes the perfect middle ground.

Looks like we can potentially expect the announcement in the morning. Screamscape reported on a Tuesday, Sep 27th announcement, and this guy who is likely going to be at the media event (His account is followed by SeaWorld) just said he was going to the park for the announcement in the morning.

So, um, it has been nearly an hour since this announcement and SWSD hasn't updated their website, hasn't posted anything to Facebook, and they don't have a Twitter account. WTF?

Yeah I was thinking "gee, these are some great but very cold shots of Wave Breaker"

Wonder if one of these makes their way to the florida parks eventually. They could easily each get one and be fine. Wouldn't be a bad addition at all for either.

I'm curious now to see how the queue is gonna be organized... It didn't occur to me until seeing the construction photos on Twitter that the simulator load platform is higher than the roller coaster track. Also it looks like at least one of the pre-show rooms has been gutted, which I'm hoping doesn't mean we're going to be left with an empty warehouse for a queue. Seems kinda ridiculous that they'd invest extra time and money into un-theming a queue that was already themed for them.
