I get the feeling that whoever made the decision about Aquazoid's new name either doesn't know or doesn't care about the ride's theme or backstory.
That is correct I believe if I remember correctly there was one comic book like one at the entrance and then several more going up the queue line. Basically a Godzilla out of water if I remember correctly.I'm not sure about seeing a backstory now, but I remember in the early 00s there was a giant billboard near the ride area that looked like a comic strip featuring a giant black dragon thing named Aquazoid.

WCUSA has a theme?The logo and description are both painfully generic. I know WCUSA has been losing its theme for years now, but this is straight-up soulless.
To be clear, I still think the final project will be great in a bubble—it is just tragic to see so many years of theming thrown out the window.
