Verbolten and Pantheon seem perpetually down too. Verbolten is apparently dealing with a significant repair to the drop track.
Verbolten has been down for a little while, and I’ve heard it’s an issue with the drop track. Kevin confirmed it was a maintenance issue outside the scope of annual maintenance. As for Pantheon, it was running last weekend. Could it just be because it’s the week and they are short on staffing?

Pantheon is listed as 'closed for the day' which to me also implies staffing, and not a problem. I expect things will pick up once spring break starts next week.

Ah yes… panthe-off and verbroken lol.

Pantheon’s reliability has actually gotten a lot better as it’s went on. Now it has a similar downtime amount to most other Intamin’s out there. Verbolten is in a similar boat. It’s turned into one of more consistent rides that BGW has. It does have usually a big downtime stretch once per year due to verbolten typically being a year round attraction.

The common trait between both of those rides that make them a maintenance pain is moving track pieces. The maintenance teams on those rides have gotten very good at keeping them running, but moving parts are always the hardest to keep happy.

I swear nothing will beat that feeling seeing Apollos lift hill and airtime hills against the trees as a little kid coming in from I-64.
It’s something I can’t even describe. Every time I see it I still feel like a kid, I guess it’s the “We made it” moment. When I was younger and didn’t visit the park as much as I do now that moment felt magical.

Would have never stood in my day...

How the hell is maintenance so understaffed to the point that a ride with 3 trains is operating with 1, after just reopening for the first time in ~6 months?

Does it actually still have 3 trains that are consistently undergoing annual maintenance? I know some other coasters have turned their third train into more-or-less parts trains. Apollo is probably the same.

They’re up to 2 trains now. But it does have 3 trains. One is currently in maintenance.
