The music for Apollo's Chariot was composed by Doug Minerd and arranged by Gary Lensenmayer.

Thanks for the info. I wonder what Doug Minerd is doing nowadays, I know Gary Lensenmayer came back and worked on the entire score and arrangement/orchestrations for All For One.

When the music reached to the "epic 90's guitar" part, all I could think about was the 1993 Hanna-Barbera cartoon Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron.

Same and by the way the Trembley brothers who first created the show are working on bringing it back.

I heard! I hope it becomes part of Netflix's already strong animation line-up. :)

Idea/thought/nice thing Busch could do to re-invigorate its flagship coaster: I have fantasized with the idea that since Apollo turns 20 in 2019, and while not 100% necessary, it would do well with new B&M Hyper trains (Behemoth/Intimidator Style seating) and some queue-line enhancements. This would serve as a great addition if they choose not to install something for 2019, considering the fact InvadR will only be two by then. BTW, what is anyone's experience with the new B&M Hyper train seating? Does it do anything for the experience?

Somehow I feel it would a fitting birthday gift to a ride that continues to place so highly each yeah on Golden Ticket almost 20 yrs later.

I don't believe that Fury's trains are all that different from Apollo's existing trains except for the rounded headrests. Perhaps the underpinnings have been improved over the years but as far as I know the trains are virtually identical.

I'm thinking you might have Fury's trains confused with the type installed on Intimadator and Bohemoth with the split row seating. I myself am not a fan of the split rows and much prefer the original four-abreast seating on B&M Hypers.

In my opinion, Fury and Mako are better in the front and Apollo is best in the back, but I don't think that has anything to do with the trains.

I could be wrong but, doesn't the new hyper trains and have a different track gauge? I remember at Carowinds noticing that the trains on Intimadator looked significantly wider and longer.

I do think Apollo needs some attention as it hasn't a received paint job in almost ten years and defientely deserves some more attention for being a world class coaster.

I don't personally really notice the paint all that much, but when I do I see that it needs tending to, but so long as the ride is not rusting its fine. If the park paints it that would be nice, but not at the expense of fixing something else.

That wouldn't work. First of all, switching to the staggered seating trains like Diamondback, Behemoth and I-232 would reduce the capacity. Those are 8 car trains that seat a max of 32 people. In length, the staggered seating trains (because of design) are as long as a regular B&M hyper with 13 cars. That's like adding 4 more rows to Apollo's Chariot. There would have to be serious modifications to the ride in order to accommodate the staggered trains.
