I noticed that this year as well. Possibly to reduce train stress and wheel wearing? Even marginally slowing down a train reduces costs greatly. Wheels are expensive.

I used a go pro hero 3+ silver edition with a chesty (chest mount). The camera was checked at guest relations in England. You can also use a go pro "frame" mount.Busch Gardens Williamsburg said:
Technically, a camera strapped to your body is not a loose article. If they stopped the ride, It's more due to the fact that filming isn't allowed without permission.
For the third year in a row, Apollo's Chariot was 2015's most-ridden attraction! Congrats Apollo!
It is the best ride in the park, if you don't include the ride home from Christmas Town.
The Griffon hate in the past on this board is kind of funny. I think it's a pretty amazing ride. That being said, AC still takes home the ribbon at the end of the day. At least, to me it does.
With all the trains AC can run at one time, it's no surprise it's the most ridden. It's probably got the most capacity in the park. I could be wrong on that, but it seemed like there was never a non walk-on when we were there, albeit the fact we were there in October. That said, it's a fun and amazing ride. I love the flat top drop hill at the beginning.
Apollo is absolutely my favorite ride on the park, although Nessie has the best drop in my opinion. That said, he is a bit rapey; I always seem to need to grab my shirt to keep it down. I suppose that is just good theming...Greek gods and all.
Apollo is my favorite in the park. Front seat Alpie is my 2nd. Backseat Nessie 3rd. (Griffon would be in the top 3 for me if it was just longer. I prefer longer 'adventurous' coasters.)
