I wouldn’t be surprised if the show is out for the 2018 season. Hopefully corporate is learning not to invest too much on second and third revamps. Very few of the show revamps do well enough to make a good product out of something that was never too popular.

Edit: That said, I had high hopes for All For One. I’m sorry that it never fully became a show that I love like Secrets of Castle O’Sullivan, Celtic Fyre, or Scrooge No More. I loved bits and pieces, but that’s not enough, especially for such a costly show.

I really liked the set, but we saw in 2017 how they already had made budget cuts to that show. Dartanian, for instance, never had her banner remade to reflect that the character was a female. That showed that they were only willing to invest but so much into improving it, even though it was probably still salvageable.

Honestly, the whole thing about the D'Artagnan banner not matching the fact that the character was female can be a nitpick for the banners to me only symbolize what the Musketeers represent and not to be taken literally. And if there were budget cuts, then they did a great job hiding them which is a testament to the faith the park's entertainment staff had on this ambitious nighttime show.

EDIT: With that said I am glad that even if the park ends All For One, at least they were smart in keeping the equally solid Britmania around.

All For One's original purpose, I believe, was for the Royal Palace Theater to be used for the park's live entertainment again for future shows; so I am not sad at all for it's retirement. I would love to see a French themed Cirque show again in that space, frankly it's perfect. :)

Plus the awesome Britmania is still here so I'm good.

I know some people liked it and I can understand why they did. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't great and it did nothing for me personally. I think the park's head was in the right place but they just didn't quite hit the mark. Celtic Fyre is the perfect example that we thankfully have for such shows. All for One attempted to be this and had a really good shot. It really was great in theory but it just fell short. Something similar but done better would win us all over. Keep trying, Busch, you're SO close!

I would at least like to have the soundtrack. That was one of their better soundtracks in recent years, in my opinion.

They really kept trying with this show, and made more progress than with London Rocks, in my opinion. The storyline of either season was too boring for them to elaborate more on plot development. They also lacked any subtlety. Rather, they slapped you in the face with their point, and it just felt insulting to me.

They were just trying to please too many demographics that would never have liked an action show, to begin with. That, I believe is what made the show nearly impossible to save.

That was my problem with it. The action was ok, but the dialogue was clunky and very exposition based. The talking was very much..."oh here's this guy and why he's on this side" followed by a "Oh this will do this for me."

I think between that and the 'stunts' with the 'pyrotechnics' it might have become difficult and expensive.

Something like that would have played better in a smaller space IMO.

Still, with issues like those aside, there's no denying how ambitious this show was for the park. I mean, with the combination of action stunts, beautiful sets and costumes, D'Artagnan switching genders, an attempt for the Musketeers to have some semblance of character/personality, an insane amount of pyrotechnics, and other things; I can only imagine how freaking expensive this show was each night. These things led to the most interesting show that Busch Gardens has ever attempted to tackle and I applaud them for going big with it.

So yeah, All For One came and fulfilled it's purpose for two seasons and the time has come for future shows to reside within the Royal Palace Theater. Can we have a revival of Imaginique? Come on, pretty please?

I was hoping and happy to see that it was based off of the idea of the three musketeers and not the 90's boy band ~~~shudders~~~ . Too bad it was retired before i could see it. Oh well lol

I’m sure you can fine it on YouTube somewhere.

Personally I don’t think you’re missing much. The action was fun. But imo very expositional and the stunts were more “wow” power (someone doing a flip or something like that with some SFX).

For the record I don’t think it was terrible; but it wasn’t the quality of some of the other shows.

The final performance video is my favorite of the All For One videos on YouTube. The energy the cast gave off when I saw it live was really neat to watch. :)
That energy is really what makes or breaks alot of these shows. Im glad you got to see that live. Most theme park shows never reach the needed amount of energy to really make it succeed.
