I love it when actors roam around the park and stay in character. It adds a certain charm and detail that I wish was a common element to the park.

I found the demonstration cheesey and unpleasant.

They dueled with a little girl, using baguettes, and made a bunch of bread puns.

There were also "wacky hijinks:" they dumped water on one of the actor's head's. Apparently this proved the woman was plucky or some other two dimentional substitute for a realistically strong female character.

I had to walk away.

I find breaking the fourth wall as a regular COA to be tedious at best and annoying and irritating generally.

I find it anything but, "charming."

I saw the show this evening, and I won't do a detailed review, however, the show was remarkably an improvement from last season! The plot was much easier to follow, the action stunts were far more believeable, and the sets were very solid! The pyrotechnics throughout the show were just great, and the firework finale was amazing! They added a catwalk in the middle of the theater for some plot elements, which made for a very cool show! Also noted, there were only two minor technical issues with mics for tonight's showing.

For anyone with doubts such as the ones I'm sure we all had in giving the show a second chance, I would highly recomend giving it a shot this season. It's still not perfect, but it's far better than last season!

The choreography is very tight. I must give them props for that. Unfortunately, if you are someone that didn't like anything about the concept of last years show, you will probably be disappointed this year as well, just maybe not as much. That's another thing that makes this show like Gloria.

This year's show was well set up to consistently give guests the same show each night. Last year was anything but consistent. Now the crew finally has time to reset everything before the next performance. This gives them much more room to pack in exciting elements that would have been impossible last year. While I do think it's a shame that we only have one show per night, I will gladly take that for of reliability.

I agree, this year feels very consistent with it's special effects/lighting/sound and everything else if my experience and your video is anything to go by. I feel that last year was most certainly the case of trial and error, "All For One" was a concept that BGW had never done in it's 40+ year history and it showed it's roughness big time. This year they have fine tuned it into a wonderful nighttime show that feels fully realized for the first time.

One for all! And all for one!! :D

Oh! The friend of mine saw the show tonight and he really loved it all around calling it "a wonderful massive improvement over last year", and gave me this nice report: "Everything was working in full swing, even the four main drop curtains at the end worked".

Could this year's show have been based off of a Barbie movie? Apparently a movie called "Barbie and the Three Musketeers" follows a storyline which bears a few resemblances. Much like All For One, the movie is about a girl (played by Barbie) who wants to fulfill her father's dying wish and become a musketeer. Along the way, the villain steals her letter of commision because he doesn't want a woman to become a musketeer. This much sounds like the story of All For One? That's probably because it is.

Sure, there is more to the movie than that, because we only have half an hour to tell our story. Plus, in the movie there are other women who wish for the same thing. Another funny coincidence is that the theme song of the movie is "All For One".

D.d..I don't... I mean... Wow. Thoughts anyone?

Oh come now, that's just a coincidence. Nothing more, nothing less. Captain Rochefort in the show doesn't know that Mademoiselle D'Artagnan is woman until the climax so at least there's that.

If you ask me, I will always prefer the "All For One" version of this adaptation idea, at least it's not boring. ;)

The quality of the show is already a lot better then last year. But I am not a fan of the female D'Artagnan the lady playing her does a wonderful job but to me it just comes off as Gimmicky.

Maybe but some version of that has been done in so many media forms that I think its a strech to assume that. I mean if you substitute knite for musketeer there are some similarities to Shrek but I don't think that they stole from disney its just a common theme for this kind of womans role.

I looked at the video a few times and the only actors that reprise their roles from last year are the ones who play Planchet and Porthos. The latter played Magnus the Viking for some promo materials and the opening ceremony of Invadr.

Well played BGW, well played.

Well I was thinking the show was better than last year. However there was a small fire after a scene that involved explosions. The stage got all smoky and they stopped the show. And was told to leave the theater as quickly as possible.

But at least the mics worked this year!

Annnd I do think the show is much better than last year.

Yay! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the show more than last year. Though that "smokey" tech issue has me a little concerned but thankfully it should be resolved very quickly.
