RE: New Show for 2016: All For One

Did you see the 8:45 or 10:00 performance? Also, did the drop curtains work? I have yet to see the drop curtains work during the first showing.

There was only one showing...at 9. Yup the Curtain drop worked....sadly they are still having feedback and mic issues.

These microphones that they are using are terrible. During one showing D'Artagnan's mic wasn't working. He tried very hard to project, but it sounded more like yelling from where I was sitting up front. Suddenly, at the end of the show, they replaced his black mic with one of the light/ fleshy-colored mics.

The difference between his voice and the others was phenomenal. He sounded crystal clear. Meanwhile the others sounded like they were speaking through a soup can, with lots of feedback and costume friction. Sadly, that might have been an older mic. It's the kind that the park used before they started having all these sound issues.

I wonder if it's because that the Royal Palace Theater hasn't done a show like this and with so many elements at play that the sound would have problems just like "Roll Out The Barrel" at the Festhaus. What's weird is that I didn't have any sound issues at the show I saw except for wind and only two small cases of feedback that it's a temperamental thing.

But this show is still awesome to me that I'm glad Pete Dunklee and Phil Raybourn are in charge of the entertainment departments instead of Lord Voldemort (oops I mean Scott), I hope to see it again in August for my birthday. It's undeniably close to what The Old Country era would do in the 2010s and I hope someone here will post a video of the show soon.

I'm still trying to keep an open mind considering it's mostly a first for the park, but I do hope they fix the loose ends soon and really nail the choreography. I'm more impressed with the set/stage over the choreo. The whole thing has potential to be something great! And hoping they sell the soundtrack XP

I agree Kyle, even though I really like this show to no end (I consider it the second best show in Busch Gardens right now behind Celtic Fyre), I will say that some little things do need to be fixed up which I have faith that Pete Dunklee and Phil Raybourn are doing their hardest to address. I would rather have this management than what Scott and his minions were doing before.

EDIT: Busch Gardens just posted a well-filmed promo for the show.

Agreed! I have all faith in Pete & Phil and what they'll accomplish! LOVE the promo!

Now if Pete Dunklee and Phil Raybourn can get rid of London Rocks and Roll Out the Barrel, thereby replacing them with better, stronger shows; I will be the happiest person on the boards.

Seriously, London Rocks 2016 sucked so hard that I would advise people to AVOID IT.

Soundtrack will not be released. *sigh* and *livid*

Well that stinks, but hopefully someone will record the full show very soon.

at the beginning of the show we went to, it said no video / no camera / etc on a loud announcement like 1 minute before the show began.

RE: New Show for 2016: All For One

The park does that for its other shows to such as Celtic Fyre despite the fact you are allowed to record the show. Its just there to remind people not to distract the actors during the performance while doing so.

RE: New Show for 2016: All For One

^Both of the above statements. They don't seem to mind recordings in Das Festhaus or The Royal Palace Theatre. The main issue with those shows and filming are the bright screens. All For One has glow toys anyway.

With London Rocks it is a copyright issue. The park doesn't like to admit it, but it's true. London Rocks also just set a bad precedent for other shows.

Can't wait to see the videos you got from All For One. :)

I wish those costumes were a tad less bright. There's a fine line between making concept clothing look realistic, verses wearing a bunch of colored felt etc. I like to think of it as the cosplay effect. Nevertheless the costumes aren't bad, just not my favorite.
