I'm assuming these are pictures of the set when it was built in a large studio before being shipped to Busch? Unless these are artist renderings, which makes me question the large blue background.

The large blue background is probably the night sky, because this is a nighttime show.

It's just a rendering. No visible construction has begun in the theater itself. All there is in the theater is what was left after striking the set for 'Twas That Night.

Those were conceptual renderings, not staging at all. So, it is possible changes occur before final construction. À la Project 2017 Plans.

Uhm, I might be wrong but what happened to the square towers? I know they used to have speakers in them back in the day. There were signs next to them advising guests of the loud noise/sound?

Thanks for noticing that. I don't know why the those towers remained after the removal of the moat.

For once I am SUPER SUPER excited for a new regular season show!! I've been wanting to see the theater have some more life, as Aquitane seems to only get love when people want ice cream,griffon, or HoS/CT. It's nice to see much love and diversity be out into the park, that actually seems to fit the theming well.

I agree. I've been wanting a reason to go to the theater. I think the last time I was there was just to stand in line for Catacombs a few years ago.

Here is the casting call for the show along with some more info and show running dates are included in the call. They are also running a casting call in LA in a week or so also I think I saw but the one was last week in Orlando with same info...

So, Sparky Jax Productions will be working with the park (as it says in the casting call). I'm still trying to find out more about what people/companies the development team consists of. It seems like we might have a few new people this time, starting with the costume designer.

Last weekend, scaffolding appeared in the theater.  [tweet=https://twitter.com/CastleOSullivan/status/728968621020565504]

This weekend, it appears that some of the panels for the back wall facade have gone up. A friend of mine kindly allowed me to share a photo that he took from Trapper's Smokehouse of the panels.

Most likely.

They offer classes and training in various circus disciplines like aerial hoop, contortion, aerial silk, corde lisse and trapeze.

I know some of the instructors at Cirque School LA are former Cirque du Soleil acrobats.
