If they do add another drop tower, I hope they put it in another remote location. One of the great things about Zumanjaro is that it hardly ever had a line, presumably since people either couldn't find it or couldn't be bothered to get to it. For me, it was a win-win: No line, plus I got my steps in! ;)

The rapids being removed would definitely help access, bus as-is, it's kinda just Seaport Eats that's in the way of widening that bottleneck.

My hope <3 and Dream 😍 would be to see one of Intamin's new gen rapids rides there. Will it ever happen? No, especially not with the issues Amazonia at Bellewaerde had. But they're significantly more compact than the originals and very unique for a dry park water ride and I had to explain its presence in this screenshot. Regardless, the end of the current rapids will leave a sizeable plot for expansion that they could route into fairly easily roughly along the blue line:

It would just leave Seaport eats as a weird island.
I would love for them to get a custom ride (preferably a coaster) that follows the path of the existing rapids so it can still weave through the trees. Maybe a Vekoma family launch that does 2 or 3 laps around the existing loop?

The park already has so many coasters, though. I'd prefer an updated rapids ride.

I think with how short the operating season of their water rides is, it would make sense for them to invest in small-footprint water attractions like a Zamperla Big Wavez or a Fire Patrol shooting water ride. Spend less money and space on the attractions that only operate ~4 months out of the season and put your money into things that can operate from March all the way through holiday in the park (assuming it comes back).

I mean, KD had their flume going this past Saturday when it was like 45 degrees...and there were people riding it. Not a lot, but some LOL.

big wavez will work well in the boardwalk area (fire patrol shooting ride would work well in the dream street area where half of dare devil dive used to be, maybe call the ride: dream street fire dept?)

Was this wooden framing up around the Superman tent last season? It looks like they’re getting ready to add some facade to hide the (objectively gross and falling apart) tent.

Hopefully they are forward thinking and whatever they are building can work well a future retheme!

There’s one really big positive that no one’s talking about with the addition of project purple ….

GAdv won’t be getting another shuttle coaster for a really really really long time after this
As much as I’d like this to be true, I don’t think we should rule out the possibility of the coaster after Phantom Spire being a family boomerang, especially if their kids area is the next area getting a redo which seems pretty likely.

Never thought I’d say this, but I think improving maintenance/general upkeep as well as repaving the entire park would in my eyes be a preferred addition over another big coaster, or anything else really

It’ll probably take a long time to accomplish, but the park needs to develop a habit of better care before adding anything new (aside from what we’re getting this year, next year, and in the future with what we saw on the survey)

The priorities for the park to me were an enhanced family area and then park beautification.
This was of course before they removed 45 rides and Ka.
Now that the boardwalk is here and a new coaster is on site, area beautification is a must ….. starting with a nitro repaint

And seems like a Batman re-fresh, to an extent, is underway or about to be. Thank God.

Ngl I kinda agree

The overall improvements over the last few years have already gone a long way and in due time the park should really be up to the Cedar Fair standard for cleanliness and appearance.

The restaurant renovation trend that they're on right now is honestly one of my favorite updates we're seeing, cannot wait to see the new Best of the West. With JDC BBQ currently closed with no signs of opening next year I think that is going to change next year. They've been doing 2 a year so I think that's something we can expect to continue, and there are a couple good candidates. Mama Flora's, Macho Nacho, and Heroes Grill are what I personally believe to be the top candidates.

Another change I really need to see them make: MERCHANDISE

The merch in the park is just abysmal to put it lightly. The designs are always pretty trashy and the rides never look like they should (Medusa looks like a old Vekoma on all its merch). And after visiting Knott's and Cedar Point I know that they can do much better in this department, even Dorney does a way better job. Get made to thrill in here again to make some clothing pieces, I have a few of theirs and they are awesome.
