They're in no hurry to get it open until the Food & Wine Festival ends-- they can't staff all the restaurants they have with the booths open too.

Yeah, this is a super good point.

It's my understanding that the project is way behind schedule, but now that it has been pushed into the Food & Wine window, they definitely don't have any reason to get it up and running before mid-June.

Last year when we visited during F&W we were disappointed to find so many regular food locations closed, and while it's a nice festival, I'd like to have the regular restaurants available as well.

With the exception of Squires all are open this year.
Good to know! I was craving my Mamma Stella's Sampler last year from Marco Polo's and was really disappointed to find it closed. We are hoping to stop in next week on our way to NJ from Orlando...

Rumor has it that next weekend might see a soft opening of Squires and it looks to be on track for that date to be possible.

My petition to return England Sweet Shoppe to its rightful name, M. Sweet's Confectionary, is now accepting signatures.

I don't know what the menu at Squire's Sweets is likely to be composed of, but if it is primarily ice cream or baked goods, I would have preferred BGW keep the British Baker of London Dairy names over "Squire's Sweets."
