Anyone know when/how reservations can be made? I want to make one for opening day.

It was a pretty state forward processes through the app and website for Winterfest but I don't think they have opened it up for reservations yet. Honestly with opening day still TWO MONTHS away I would be shocked to be able to place one yet especially with the capacity still up in the air.

Some of us may feel done (for a while) with BGW and SFA by the time KD opens. And I don't think anyone got their fill of KD last year. Those that didn't buy a pass last year saved that money. Some may have no money now but others are up $1400 or more. So the loss was last year but this one should be fine for them.

From what I'm hearing, opening day is already sold out, and I haven't even got to make my reservation
 
Then I wonder if passholder preview day is filled up already too. Odds are it's better to give them a couple weeks to work out the kinks anyway. :) I'll see what's what in now 8 minutes supposedly. The queue is moving faster than predicted, though I'm sure a big part of that is people getting in and seeing these days are full and then leaving.
 
While it sucks that people can’t get reservations for certain dates now, I’m happy to see that interest in theme parks isn’t waning. I’m hoping that this is a good sign of things to come!
 
looks like reservations are limited to 2 per pass.

Tried to book another date for later in the year and got an error for having too many reservations already.
 
I was able to get us passholder preview day. I'm not 100% sure we will go, though. I wonder if there is a way to cancel the reservation if need be?
 
The queue is to save money on IT costs (or their vendor doing so) instead of scaling up their infrastructure for larger loads of concurrent users. It's a really bad solution from the user experience point of view.
 
And for the record, I saw no operating dates (well, in May) that seemed to be unselecatable. So at least an hour ago or so they weren't sold out of reservations for any day.
 
I looked at the calendar for the first time today when I booked a reservation for pass day and realized how much I am getting screwed on my pass. I have to work just about every weekend so just about all of May and half of June are gone then all but one week in August is gone so basically my platinum pass is only useful to me for a month and half. ? I honestly might have opted for a refund if I had been offered that over this sedchule.

More season pass devaluation. Are they going to provide compensation or just pretend it’s a non issue just like opening two months later than normal.

They are understaffed. They are being so transparent about it. Do you want to go to a water park with 4 slides open or would you rather wait for them to get everything ready for a full open? Most people here hated how BGW went about it and here is KD trying to do the right thing and people are still frustrated. I’d rather wait an extra 2 weeks to have the full park open. Can’t please everybody. KD made the right and responsible move here.
