It's interesting that "Britmania" will have previews before the show opens just like "London Rocks" did. Can't wait until mid June to hear reports/reviews of whether or not that the show is better than it's predecessor.

I bet you can't if it turns out disastrous. ;)

EDIT: The showtimes for the June 16th preview of "Britmania" has just been posted on the BGW website. It will be 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00 PM on that day.

Now take this with a big grain of salt but I heard from a close friend that some "modern" British songs from the 90's-present might be included in "Britmania" alongside the ones from the 60's-80's.

It's supposed to be 60's music through "today". Still good to know. Honestly, that's the least of my worries.

For starters, think of the parks' inclination for more awkward audience participation as of late.

Good point, but I do hope the show won't come to that. In my opinion, the audience participation device only works for the Das Festhaus shows (although "OktoberZest" does need a lot of work on that end).

I hope the show chooses that song and stages a weird number out of it; the confused faces on the audience would be worth it. ;-P

Eiffel 65 was really big in Britain and on the US dance charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their singles "I'm Blue" and "Move Your Body" in particular did well. I'm not sure what would be confusing about it.

That said, they aren't British.

The show begins previews next Friday so maybe the mystery of it's song-list will be solved sooner rather than later.

Question: When "London Rocks" began previews in 2014, did the park show it to all park goers or show it to pass members only?

I'm don't really remember the previews, but the entire thing had a big snob factor for nothing. They required guests to exit the park, go to Guest Relations to get on ticket per person and re-enter the park to wait in a line, rendering the entire ticket system pointless. Entertainment's excuse? "To provide guests an authentic rock concert experience down to the last detail."

They didn't even have a reason for the unnecessary aggravation aside from "enhancing the experience".

Thankfully that ill-fated show ticket system is no where to be found for "Britmania", otherwise it would've been announced already.

Much to our everlasting rage...

I'm a bit uncertain how you came by your tickets for London Rocks. I was given a ticket at the entrance of the theater.
