I can somewhat understand it since opening night on a Friday has very low attendance and that's one reason why I go on opening night.  Looks like I'll be going on the 29th.

Exactly, that's why I am always there on opening Friday night, very light attendance as opposed to Saturdays. But if it starts on the prior Saturday that's the weekend prior to the State Fair (which brings along the heavy traffic at night) I'll give it a try, and then the next Friday too...
