I wouldnt mind seeing them gone or moved. they're taking up a good portion of good land. sorry guys. haha

I understand. It's mainly nostalgia that wants me to keep the stable and the horses in them. It is sitting on a good piece of land to position a ride.

Unrelated: Yeah, I've seen that. It's pretty friggin' sweet. Much like Trot Fuzz, Inglorious Ponies, and The Rainbow Knight

I agree 100% with ArrowWolf.

Horses > Concerts but from the parks point of view Horses (-$) < Concerts (+$$)

I wonder why they feel they need another huge ampitheatre...i understand they have the concert series, but a another huge permanent stage?...i don't know...i know concerts bring in the crowds

When BGW reconstructs the Festhaus Park area after the 2012 coaster all they are doing is upgrading the lawn setting and putting in a more permanent base for the stage. Thats it. As for RPT I still don't see it going anywhere. There are also events in that place that can't go on in Festhaus Park.

Like what? The place sits unused almost 365 days a year. The only reason it's being used this year is because of the 2012 construction.

I've never actually been inside the RPT except to stand in line for the haunted house in France. Oh wait, I did see Kenetix or whatever it was. That was interesting. Nothing to write home about, but interesting. I'm definitely not a fan of the whol Christian Rock band thing they have going on right now (or else it was only this past weekend when I was there; see also Trip Reports forum). But that's just me. Though I'm not sure how I'd feel about BG hosting major concert events. I'd hate to have to plan a trip around whether or not there will be a huge influx of some artist's fanbase running around the park while I'm there.

The only time I have ever been in RPT was for Music Festival reward ceremonies. (Yes, My High School in New York State was part of the Music Festival in Virginia Beach. Awesome trips!)

And I agree with Merboy about the concerts at BGW, If they ever held major concerts for big time artists. Days at BGW filled with <<Artist name here.>> fans everywhere!

One coaster design I saw that looked pretty fun was a coaster that uses the side of a mountain. It would be able to use space that couldn't be used for anything else.

You ever ride a 4D dffan?

I am really trying to understand this question...why would anyone say they are not a fan of something if they had never ever tried something?....really?...
