RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

can't tell you, violation of the social media policy... but i and some other team members on the forum have agreed to keep some stuff secret and when busch does release these things, we knew about it before (july 5, 2011) and we will be able to prove that bg DOES keep secrets and BG does not lie to the employees

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

exactly... or they gave someone a vague decription, that person told someone (telephone game) then that person made drawings and gave them to bgwfans

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

The thing I have wrong with that is why would someone do that? Unless it was the park who did those, who actually has the time and wants to put in the effort to trick an Internet forum. Unless they want the attention. Or it could have been the parks originals and they've tweaked them, redone it the whole thong, etc. I'm just throwing out ideas

They lied to my sources.

then how are these plans correct?

I have confirmed sources both inside and outside the park telling me what I have is real.

A member on TPR posted the concept art before we did. We have the same concept art as the TPR member did except without a watermark.

Busch Gardens asked TPR to pull said concept art.

The layout is the same as what was seen at the planning commission meeting.

150+ pages of diagrams, concept art, etc. isn't cheap to make. Actually, that's an understatement. The park probably spent a fortune on this stuff.

The park and this site are on pretty bad terms. Why would they support us by giving us documents to leak?

Why would they make it such a pain in the behind to publish them?

Use your brain.

Quit blowing smoke out of your rear. They are telling team members false information after this stuff was released. They are trying to play it off like this is no big deal. If it were no big deal then certain events that have occurred with the site would not have happened.

This is not RCT3 or NoLimits. The time used to create the plans included ones released as well as concept drawings are thousands and thousands of dollars. If it were a misinformation campaign then the drawings would not be of an accurate scale and would be labeled in an idiot fashion.

Your minimum wage push buttons on a ride job would not be told anything of significance. I know that for a fact from upper management. Your Leadership Team as well knows nothing of significance either. If a TM is approached by a guess and references these they have been instructed to inform the guest that these are false. Events have played out that none of you know about.

Okay, fifty cent above. Three of my closest friends have been operators there for 4 years and two are now Leadership Team. I know the pay grade.

Leadership Team stays on a VERY need to know basis and find out nothing of any importance until it is going to be released.

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

It does depend on the supervisor. We have three levels of supervisors and our second level is absolutely in love with roller coasters and finds out anything he can.

I take that as a personal offense...

There's no reason for you to. It's a simple fact. The park doesn't go around handing out info to ride ops. Guess what: The park doesn't give me anything either. Maybe I should be offended because my two park pass doesn't come with a side of coaster plans. What I'm trying to say is that some people are privy to information that others aren't. That's how the world works.

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

No i took offense to what Socut said about ride operators being minimum wage button pushers

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

So you think all we do is push buttons and pull on harnesses? Ok then

lol, scout...

my gosh you guys, just whip them out already

The same thing happens every 2-3 years of fan forums. Bottom of the line park employees feel high and might because they talk on a microphone in a station all day. Same egos different people.
