Spirit of the Forest.
Spirit of the Black Forest.
One of those will be the name of the new ride. The closeup of the drop track has wording that refers to lighting. And it has the name Spirit of the Forest on it. Right Swift?

Looking at the color concept of the bridge, the train looks to resemble an older style Porsche. But that means absolutely nothing to me right now since I'm really loving the detail that is going into the event building.
It looks like you try to avoid the forest from capturing you, and then you run into the leaf pit. The ground falters from around you and you fall, the car is still okay and then you launch to the bridge and that 126 ft. drop (is it really 126?)

I was hoping the cars around the theming would more resemble an older style (like a 1930s Mercedes) to keep BGW's old-timey feel alive. But I think they're planning on modernizing the heck out of this.

Ok Swiift let me ask you a question: of all the pics and plans that you have seen, which one or few of them impressed/surprised you the most, and why?

Well they modernized the crap out of Ok-fest as it is but it still looks good. I was starting to lose faith with this project but I am actually excited about it again. My biggest worry is the magnitude of theming they are going after. It is way above and beyond what they have ever done before. The upkeep is going to be retarded expensive and I hope they keep it up and not leave it be.

The theming concepts show a 50's style car. That's not too bad.

That's exactly what another mod I was talking with last night said. From the concepts at hand though it seems as if the station and queue theming itself is going to make DarK look like a base model being put beside a GT2RS. We'll see how it goes but when you theme like that it is either going to look a) fake and get torn up if it isn't kept up b) look realistic and get torn up if it isnt kept up... or out of reach of the 13yo's that run rampant there.
