Also remember that you will get no answers on soft opening from staff members. I still laugh about the guy telling us Invadr wasn't opening while the other guy was checking gopro cards from those of us huddled around waiting. This is when it's really great to work 5 minutes from the park.

I think typically team members have ridden about 2 weeks out and they will soft open around a week out.

TM rides all depend on their schedule. Sometimes they plan a special event for TM's after the park closes one weekend night, other times, they ask for people to come in during the week to get paid to ride it. I (and 149 others) got paid for 5 hours of riding VB. Once that happens, soft openings are shortly thereafter. I think VB's was the following weekend.

Any idea how far they have gotten since yesterday?

Also remember that Official opening =/= when guests are first allowed to ride it. They may plan a May 1 Opening, but have a soft opening as early as the weekend of April 17-19. Verbolten was open what, one? two? weekends before the official opening?
For Verbolten if I remember correctly we got one evening of it being open. Then we rode on media night and it officially opened the next morning.

It was definitely open before that. I remember going on mothers day to the soft opening and getting one of the first POV videos of it. TPR actually used if for their stuff until they got the official videos from the park. I knew it would be open since it was having soft openings all weekend. I think that was the weekend after my ERT (Employee Ride Time lol)

I remember having to sign up for a time to ride VB. I had to take off from my real job so it had to be during the week. May have been a couple of days for TMs to sign up for. I do remember clocking in to get paid to ride.

I believe they had two days of 2, 5 hour shifts for us. You had to sign up for it in general and usually didn't get approved for more than one shift. They let us ride more if we wanted, but had to clock out at the shift times.

[Edit]: Alright, I looked up the calendar from 2012 and hopefully this will settle this. Verbolten opened officially on May 18th. "Technical Rehearsals," as they called them, occurred over Mother's Day weekend, May 12-13. If all goes well with pantheon, hopefully we will get a soft opening a week in advanced, putting the ride to be ready at the end of April with the approximate schedule.

I know the date of planned opening :) What's rolling around in planning right now would shock you all if they go through with it. I don't know if it will be approved but it's not something BGW has ever done, yet I imagine everyone on this forum would want to be apart of it.

Fabio's return makes too much sense not to be on the wish list.

The god himself returns to ride amongst his peers of the Pantheon.

This time triumphant... thanks to playing a role not named Phaeton.
