The capacity question got me curious so I dove in a little. Timing all the control points from a pov I'm getting roughly 48 seconds from the time a train is dispatched to the time it'd be permitted to exit the lift with 2 trains (10 seconds for station to be clear, 26 seconds for the next train to advance, 12 seconds for switch track to return to other position), when accounting for 48 seconds of lift time (vs. 36 on 1 train ops) that would bring the time from a train dispatching to parking on the breaks up to 1:54.
I believe that from that, 1:54 would likely be the minimum dispatch interval to avoid block checks. With 1:54 as a dispatch interval that's a little more than 31 trains or approximately 250 riders.
With one train ops the time from dispatch to parking in the station is 2:08. How quickly you can theoretically check a train is obviously highly variable, but looking at some kentucky flyer footage for reference I'm guessing 45 seconds would be the practical minimum with most cycles in the 1:15 range. Using 2:53 as the interval one train ops could optimistically achieve 20 dispatches or 160 riders.
For some reference, kings dominion racer & grizzly typically do 13 cycles running one train, which is 364-390 theoretical riders.
Side note, when thoosies time operations why does it always start when the gate opens, the number that actually matters is total time parked in station, getting people off the ride efficiently is just as important to operations as getting people on.
