My understanding is the lift motor went kaboom, hence the supports being in such bad shape. Happened while pulling a train up, otherwise the train would not have stopped there. They were still working on all of the wood when I left but they had replaced a good amount.
There was nothing going on with the lift motor at all so I’m not sure why anyone got that idea.

And replaced 4 more times to boot.Yeah, it’ll be 2030 and that wood still won’t be painted.

... And you're going to tell us all what it is that you want, because I can't figure out what you were leading on...Ok, hadn't thought about this until now. So, Kings Dominion is now part of Six Flags. Six Flags has the licensing to use Warner Bros characters. Warner Bros owns... Scooby Doo. I've now officially decided what I want for Kings Dominion's 50th.
If these trains don't have buzz bars, this will honestly be the saddest news out of this park for me since Volcano's removal. From a KD Fanatics post…new trains are coming. They are being built in-house and the ride is expected to reopen within 2-3 weeks. For whatever it may be worth, I will certainly miss the buzz bars, but maybe these trains will be a tad more gracious with the leg room?
