I noticed in this video that a lot of the trees in Old Virginia have already been wrapped with lights. To the best of my recollection, they didn’t start putting up lights in that area nearly this early last year.

Learning from the incredibly quick turnover from last year. Quite a few lights were left in their places after last year's Winterfest and went the entire season without being touched, most notably on some buildings in I-Street.

Racer 75 is out, but Twisted Timbers is in (that wasn't running last year, right?):

I think you put this in last years, 2018, folder. There is a 2019 folder below the Haunt one. Might see if the moderators will move this over for you.

Kinda surprised that Americana wasn't on last year.

Hopefully whatever weather kinks Twimbers had in 2018 got worked out, unless they intend to only operate it in temps above 40 degrees.

It hasn't valleyed (nor overrun the brakes) since those early on issues, so they seem to have a better handle on how it will operate in different conditions.

On Sunday it looked like the park has already finished putting up lights on almost all the trees in Old Virginia, International Street, and Candy Apple Grove, and there’s light show control boxes all over the park already. Seems like they’re way ahead of schedule compared to last year.

In addition, I would love to be able to get a good glazed doughnut in the park, warm would even be better.

I can see why KD got started on Winterfest decor early. Given this year's operating calendar, the event starts the weekend before Thanksgiving and operates on Tues & Wed before Turkey day. Plus, the park is open New Years Day. That is 5 more operating days than last year. In addition, Winterfest opens at 4 pm on almost all Saturdays and select Fridays until daily operations start. Many of the weekdays leading up to Christmas and New Years are 4 pm openings instead of 5pm.

I would just like to say I only went to Haunt once due to a very mediocre experience, but the thought of doughnut burgers on the dining plan and TT in the cold is already significantly more intriguing.

KD released a new blog entry concerning the food for Winterfest. There is going to be a LOT of new/revised food offerings in the park (not just the doughnut burger).

Some Highlights include:

Using the KD Food truck to have several new food items offered (Winterfest Way)
New food offerings in Victoria Gardens (11 Pipers Piping?)
Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread
Gingerbread Sundae

You can check it out here Winterfest Food Offerings

The Apple Fries sound tasty. Actually a bunch of these new items do.
