Preschool passes are available now on the website.Still no word on 2022 preschool passes, will they exist? Are they good for this event?
Also no Invadr. Bummer
I asked BGW on Facebook about the train and they responded that it will be open for Winter Weekends.Hours are too short to make it worthwhile for anyone except locals that have a membership. 6 hours is not worth travel or buying a ticket. Hard to see how this turns a profit if it doesn’t bring in actual ticket sales.
No train, which is one if the best rides for low temps. No major entertainment which indoor entertainment is also a good thing to have for low temps.
Also they advertise lights but close at 6! In January it just gets dark around 6! Daylight gets longer after Dec 20.
I guess they don’t want to stick their neck out but between the hours and the chance of having nothing to do if it’s too cold, I don’t see much attendance.
As much as I would love to go a theme park in Jan, the probability that there will be little to do and the short hours isn’t worth the travel expense.
It would have to be way colder than 40 for them to actually close (I would guess below 0). They will close for storms if No one should be outside for most/the whole day, otherwise, they will be openIt doesn’t look like coasters will run Sat 1/8. High of around 41 degrees.
Does Busch ever do a “Cedar Fair job” and just close the park because of temps or rain?
Last year there were nights that it was in the single digits with win chill close to zero and they didn't close. It doesn’t look like coasters will run Sat 1/8. High of around 41 degrees.

Only happened to me once. It was during Covid (reservations and only part of the park was open) and it was raining fairly steady so they closed down the park about an hour early. I had a few rides on Griffon, Alpengeist and InvadR where I was the only person on the train. I don't blame the park - I think it was just me and maybe two other people in the entire park when they decided to close early. When I left the parking lot had maybe two or three cars in it. One thing I learned is when it's raining don't sit in the far right seat in the front of Alpengeist - the water draining from the first wheel car (I'm not sure what the technical name is - it's the first car with no seats) pretty much streams into that seat.It doesn’t look like coasters will run Sat 1/8. High of around 41 degrees.

Fun fact! It's called the Zero Car! And yes, it has a tendency to drain on people.(I'm not sure what the technical name is - it's the first car with no seats)

I just noticed that, how did I miss that big detailAlso San Marco bridge is closed for renovations.
I’m surprised they chose to open Apollo’s Chariot with this map. It’s well out of the way and would have been better to open something more centralized.
