Winter Event Returning to Kings Dominion in 2027?

I hate to break the news, but my inside sources confirmed that since Monday's announcement, the drones for the nighttime spectacular have already been cut, and are being replaced by these bulbs turning on right at 9:00.

I'm surprised that they will wait until its dark to light them. Isn't a KD signature nightime event supposed to take place at 4pm?

Per the Q&A with park management this weekend, Jennifer did confirm no WinterFest this season. Though, she said she could not give an answer on next year yet because things keep changing rapidly in the amusement industry. They all hope WinterFest comes back at some point. Sounds like they fought for it to stay before it was cut.
