News Wild Waves to Close Following the 2026 Season

I wasn't aware that clown was still allowed to be in charge of any parks after he catastrophically fucked Six Flags with debt in a way that can still be felt today.

Giant warehouse planned for Wild Waves property in Federal Way - Seattle Weekly

The final season of the Wild Waves Theme Park is currently underway, but plans have already been filed with the city of Federal Way to turn the site into a 1 million square foot warehouse called Podium I-5.

A Geotechnical Report on the Podium I-5 project provided by Terra Associates Inc. states: “The project will consist of redeveloping the site with a 1,033,680 square foot industrial building and associated access, parking, and utility improvements. The building will have dock high loading on the east and west sides with parking to the north, south and west.”

I can’t find one positive thing to say about this park. Only that if this park remained open after SF America closed then I don’t believe there could possibly be justice in this world. I’d forgotten just how bad Premier is in general from my visit to Elitch but this is actively lowering the bar in ways I didn’t know possible.

We have no idea.

Out of the coasters though, I’d really only expect the kiddie powered coaster and the Zamperla wild mouse to survive. Timberhawk certainly isn’t being relocated when a much more noteworthy woodie is still homeless and as much as I hate losing Arrows, I can’t see any park wanting a 42 year old basic loop/screw. On the other hand…it’s an Arrow loop and screw, it’ll live forever with some fairly simple maintenance.

Yeah, that’s kind of where the latter half of that comment comes in. If a park actually wanted fucking T3, an Arrow loop/screw must look like gold to some park somewhere.
