I wonder if xtreme skyflyer can fit two flat rides because my idea is to move delirium to xtreme skyflyer spot and part that zamperla endeavour and use the current site of delirium for a new coaster
I like this idea. Shockwave may not have been a great coaster but visually it was so cool having a coaster ride alongside Candy Apple Grove in the middle of the park like that. It would be cool to have another coaster in that plot, it does seem weird to me that Delirium takes such a small plot and has fields on both sides of it left empty.

Maybe if Flight of Fear gets a new lease one life from the Joker's Jinx parts, they could do a slight retheme to match it up with the rest of the area. Maybe make it like an alien ship that crashed in the jungle and was discovered by scientists. Tie it to the Nazca Lines in Peru or something. Instead of the Area 51-esque theme on the outside, have look like it's covered in thick jungle cover.

Honestly, at least for the next few seasons, I would expect not much more being spent on new rides but maybe some flats; I would expect more aesthetic improvements like removing the rest of the blacktop from the midways, refurbishing/restoring various buildings, and perhaps re-establishing or refreshing theming.

If FoF were to close permanently, the big question is if/when they'd want to spend the $ on demolition. It'll be interesting if they choose to leave the building or not, and if they want to go through the expense of busting up the concrete.

Personally, as far as rides are concerned, I'd like to see Soak City get a bunch of infill and/or slide replacements. Either repurpose Action Theater somehow, or convert it to a modern dark ride. Do something with the sky coaster, go karts, and Dinosaurs Alive plots. Remove the fencing next to Pantherian and where Anaconda's station used to be to at least get a good view of Lake Charles.

This is where everything sits from what I can tell. This seems pretty close to Doswell Rd. It seems that it was probably taken right around the large grass hump with the picnic tables next to it( 37°50'36.83"N 77°26'35.38"W ). This is as Hanover GIS still shows the land being owned by KD, which has me wondering what it could be

Could it have been a balloon from the company event at the pavilions?
This exact thing happened the other year ago before Rapterra - I recall myself and others on this forum all had the same thoosie reaction with the assumption it was for a potential height waiver, only to find out a local car dealership chain had a company picnic that day and I guess used the balloon as a visual waypoint for their employees and guests.

It was a Sheehy Ford balloon!

Yup. it was the Sheehy Auto Group Family Day company event at the park yesterday.

For those that missed this, here's the discussion @Jonesta6 is referring to with a pic showing a closer look at the event balloons from a few years ago...
