RE: Volcano, The Blast Coaster

Could someone get a picture of the ride safety sign or something? Surely it's somewhere...

I don't know, it just feels wrong, since everything contradicts each other, I'd rather go with the one that feels right.

Well, I'm still waiting for Zachary to change Die Wirbelwind's thread name.

RE: Volcano, The Blast Coaster

While searching online for a picture of the Safety Guide sign Zach wants, I came across a unique view of Volcano from back when the shrubbery around the Crypt hadn't grown in yet.

Volcano is great in the front row, especially at night. One of the few rides where I prefer the front over the back. Oddly, even though Volcano's capacity is horrid, the wait for the front seems to go pretty quickly whenever I ride it. Maybe that's just me

Given that this Sunday did not have Haunt running; plus, with the State Fair occurring less than 2 miles away, I would not think there would be many folks at the park today.

Quick side note: KD is open from 10:30 am till midnight on Friday, Oct 10th (Haunt running). Also, they are open on Monday, Oct 13th from 10:30am - 6:00pm (No Haunt).

I think this is Columbus Day weekend. Many Virginia state workers have a holiday that weekend).

Haunt is not operating today, so it's the typical slow Sunday crowd level with even less people coming for the event.

Edit: mwhinva beat me to it. :p

My impression was that most people were there for Planet Spooky. There were some people there for Haunt, as well, unfortunately.

They seem to be having a lot of problems with it lately tried last Saturday and it was down most if not all day and is having a delay running again today.
