I tend to agree. I like this coaster, sans the time spent waiting in line. It's a solid ride. It just looks like they got 90% done with putting all the elements together and said, "screw it. Good enough."

On a capacity day expect 3 hr plus lines for Volcano. A Saturday this time of year shouldn't come near half that, but be wary if you plan multiple visits during a year. Don't even try to ride it during Haunt, that's just impossible.
I haven't noticed anything too bad about the cleanliness of the ride. Except for what Evan said about dust dust and more dust. I think the gravel would be cool if it was orange or something (to represent lava) but now its just...well... gravel.
I haven't been to KD yet this year, and I may be the only one who cares about this, but did anyone else notice the Christmas lights at the end of the ride?
Those are "special" outdoor lights for stuff like night parties or for a pool area or something. They use these to illuminate the catwalk that leads into the maintenance bay to the left of the station. They should probably turn them off I guess.
These may possibly be the worst pictures I've ever taken and I apologize for that. The content however, is pretty cool! KD has taken the newly re-discovered 'Haunted River' props that we saw in a photo somewhere piled up, and placed them all in the pit behind Volcano's new station queue. Next time you're there riding, you can see them by looking over the back railing of the station in the area of the front half of the train.

Am I the only one who thinks the scale of coaster around and in the Volcano is wrong? To me it looks like that mountain needs to be about 3x its current size

^ I agree with you, though I can never come to terms with this ride because of the loss of the attractions that it displaced. Unforgivable.
And I've always thought that the track supports, both their appearance and the sheer number of them, make this ride look ridiculous. It looks like the mountain is perpetually under scaffolding.
