The park knows that they don't run all the trains a majority of the time. The concept that park would choose a system like that seems way too far-fetched to be true.

Well if they had the yellow train they would be for awhile now, but yes after this season when they hype dies off they probably wont run all 5 trains frequently.

RE: Verbolten

I'd have to most of the staff for Verbolten is very strick and sometimes rude unlike the other rides..

RE: Verbolten

I actually know a few of them and they aren't rude, they may seem that way because they don't cut corners and follow the rules. Where as other rides slack on that. And personally I'm glad they follow the rules I hate seeing ride ops not care about things like loose articles and such.

I agree completely. I watched one of them staple a guy's harness down hard. The guy told the TM it was too far and the TM laughed. When he got back in the station and out he pulled his shirt up and showed everyone he had a bruise across his lower abdominal from it. You are right, Bolt's crew is rather rude.

Going by the book, not cutting corners, etc does not equal HAVING to be rude. They are rude and where they are not breaking one rule they are certainly endangering others in other methods.

RE: Verbolten

They had the yellow train running yesterday but the red train was back in the shed. I kind of figured it was designed to run 4 all the time with one off for maintenance.

If that's the case, the person who's been stapled should've talked to a supervisor (or any higher up for that matter) about it. Even then, I'm not really sure if stapling happens that often either. I've certainly seen stapling happen, but not too often to call the ops "rude".

As for being strict, there's nothing wrong with that.

Oh he did, then the TM was pulled off the platform. But when a guy says its too tight and the TM walks away smirking. That's rude. The TM separating guests at top of the queue is typically rude outside of a couple ones. It certainly does not hold up to the "World Class Standard" that the parks loves to gloat about. That attraction seems to be the worst about it. Rude and strict have no parallel and their definitions are commonly seen as synonyms in translation.

RE: Verbolten

Yeah, I'm kind of shocked. I've always found them to be exceptionally kind and friendly (especially to my kids). Which I always took note of given the crap they must have to deal with on down time days.

RE: Verbolten

Got to ride the YELLOW CAR today!! I have been on all of them but the gawkey orange I will keep advoiding that one as long as I can. Did anyone notice anything different about the yellow car? It has real chrome verboltin V on the front instead of a decal.......

But alas it is not real chrome. ;)

Thanks for correcting me but I do remember the orange car hacing what looked like a stick on decal....I did not notice the crome looking ones on the other 2 and could not see the one on the red car as it was in the hole all day.

I'm just saying it is not real chrome haha. But I get exactly what you are saying. Some of them are just decaled.

RE: Verbolten

They're actually made of a terillium-carbonic alloy and are only in place on yellow, blue, and green. Red and orange have decals (for unknown reasons; ask Swiftman...I mean "Zachary").
