RE: Verbolten

Are all the headlights working yet?

Is the ride video working yet?

How much longer with the yellow train?

RE: Verbolten

Just throwing this out there, but when major downtime happens for major rides, parks will usually post about it on their websites as well as social media so it really helps to keep up with those when planning trips around brand new rides.

The longest I waited in line today was 45 min, but that's because I rode in the front, very fast lines. And it didnt break down today! :D

Same here. From just outside the entrance to actually boarding was 45 mins at 1pm yesterday. Carowinds that would have been double the wait. The efficiency with which they were loading and unloading was amazing. Last night at around 8 however it was a slower line and seems they were moving slower. Am sure mostly due the poor employees being exhausted. Still very efficient.

One more thing. Security should be stationed there all day and pay attention to the ones that break in line because they have friends or family saving them a spot in line and to watch for morons that bang on the walls and decorations. Was behind one such group last night and they broke the chain and a piece of molding. Those idiots were gonna throw the piece of molding over the railing by the station until one guy said something. Maybe he should have said it in a different way but good for him. He told them they outta take it in line with them and show the rid attendants what they had done. The gangsta wanna be's shouldve been kicked out of the part but since no one was there nothing was done to them. Too bad.

Well, I'm sure Busch actually hopes lots of people will plan trips to the park who might not otherwise due any big new ride/attraction, but yah, it can be chancey. I am glad I live close enough to the park that I don't have to take that kind of risk! But I can understand the appeal of wanting to experience a new coaster in its opening season.

Yellow train news update: we officially have water dummies! Looks like they fixed what they needed to. The photo won't upload off of my phone, but I will post later tonight.

Edit: Here it is.

RE: Verbolten

Hate to put the old jinx on it but Have been here two days, rode four times and things are about as smooth as you could get at this point. Ride attendants busting hump loading and unloading and line moving as fast as any I have been a part of. Kudos to them. Got tour tomorrow am and will pop the "when we gonna see yellow" question unless the answer appears before 11:30am tomorrow.
